Flat trail with great view while circling the lake. Very crowded unless it is raining. Probably better for a quick jog than a walk.

This is just an awesome trail. Through the forest and you loop around to find yourself on a trail right on the edge of the mountain. Not for beginners. Not very steep, but lots of areas you need to boulder a bit. Highly recommend Sun screen for second half of trail, and decent hiking shoes. View of Valley were incredible.

Just breathtaking views of The Pacific, The Bay, and The Golden Gate Bridge. Not a very demanding hike. A few sections with stairs is about all. Coyotes out there sure seem tame :) LOt of people on this one during a nice day.

This trail has a very long and steep incline most of the way. The way back is mostly in shade and you have several options to go different routes. This whole area has a huge trail system that can lead to lots of different places. Cows galore. Make sure youy do not get in between them, and their calf.

Beautiful trail. Follow the canyon ridge trail for a true 5 mile hike. If you stay just on Indian Joe it is only a mile loop. For a little fun go off trail down by the stream and jump around on the rocks and discover a small cave.

Amazing hike with views of the desert, the strip, and mountains. Not a lot of elevation change but is difficult due to the length and condition of the trail. Be careful halfway cause once you pass the ranger station and get down the gravel road you will cross the scenic road and there is a sharp left you need to make once past the road. If you keep going straight and end up in the wash you missed it.

Great trail for kids. 2 miles total to end and back. Great views of seals, birds, ships, and other maritime stuff. Right along the cliffs, with spots to break off trail and head down to the rocks and explore. Lots of poison Ivy but trail is well maintained so not a problem

Cool 7 plus mile loop trail up to the top of Alum Rock and back down. Stunning views above the fog. Not a ton of shade so bring sunscreen. Gets very steep in parts along the Memorial section of trail.

NIce East bay trail up by Ohlone College. Walk next to Cows and into the open hills. Gets very steep and rocky towards the end but the views are incredible.

The ultimate 7 mile hike from Mill Valley right into Stinson Beach. Recommended you bring someone along with you who has done it before as there are parts of trail you can make the wrong turn. For the ultimate challenge do it from Stinson beach to Mill Valley and back. Lots of elevation change and uneven sufaces

This is a great trail for anyone looking for a mic of cover, views and sunshine. Would not recommend for a beginner, but a perfect hike for those who are active.
