Only went to the falls and back. Cool walk down the the falls over an old bridge. Trail was clearly marked as far as I went to the falls.

Beautiful, easy, very busy on a nice day. Not a real hike more of a drive up and walk around area but still very cool.

Fun hike, can be difficult based on your skill/fitness level. Last mile or so up is the toughest part of the trip and where you really start your climb. Great views on the way up and from the tower.

Nice flat, easy ride, perfect for people who prefer trails that do not involve riding on roadways.

Well maintained, relatively flat trail. Plenty of Parking at Greenfield Park. I ride this trail semi-regularly as the people I ride with don't like to ride on the roads and prefer trails with little to no on road riding. Nothing exciting about this trail but it does the trick if you are looking for somewhere to ride.

No reservations, if you go during a peak time and you are getting there later in the day expect to have to find somewhere else to stay, whether you hike to Pine Top Campground, which is around 4.2 miles away and you need to be prepared and have the gear to stay in a back country campground, or have a back up plan on where to stay locally. Guadalupe Peak trailhead and the trailheads to go back country hiking are all here. Water and bathrooms but no showers. No food available and no campfires allowed. ********ALSO, if you plan on coming to this park and doing and hiking other than the peak, the park does not sell a decent park map. Only a brochure of the one you can find on the NPS website, you need to bring your own map wth mileage and elevation if you plan on back country hiking. It is not necessary if you only plan to do the peak. *********

Rough trail, very steep at points. Very beautiful weather when I went in March but it was extremely windy in exposed areas, 70+ mph winds. The pine springs visitor center will generally give you the forecast if you are there before they close at 4:30 mountain time. Beautiful views and if you enjoy back country hiking/camping and having to work to get your reward this is a trail worth doing. No water in the back country or at back country camp grounds so you have to pack your own water and gear.

Busy trail. A lot of people do the peak but very few go into the back country. In mid-march it was windy but a overall beautidul day. Trail is steep in areas but overall a decent trail. Worth the hike.

Nice short hike in the Buffalo area. Not an overly difficult trail, although my girlfriend found it more challanging than I did and would tell you this should be rated as moderate not easy. Go early enough in the day, we went later and the trail gets dark very quickly with the heavy tree cover making the trail harder to follow. It had rained for 3 straight days before we went so the river was higher than normal and it was more difficult to stay dry and out of the river than at normal levels. Overall a fun hike worth doing, just keep going up the river you will know when you get there.
