Nice trail but very crowded. Lots of rude trail joggers with no trail etiquette. Several times they would just run right behind you without a word. The trail itself is not really blazed well.

Nice trail with awesome overlooks. Even though it's less than 4 miles know that it will take most people a few hours. Personally I would not take the steps up to the overlook the way down will be steeper with more sketchy rocks. There was a cool stream to filter water from and it's ice cold.

It's a nice trail. The first part takes you along the river. Once you get to the orange blaze it goes up hill for a bit. After you reach the top there a few ups and downs. Towards the end of the trail it gets pretty overgrown.

To me one of the nice things about this place is the absence of a heavy people traffic.

Walking around this forgotten historical site is great for a quick family outing. There is a playground near the water for younger kids. The loop is made of asphalt and easy on your feet and stroller friendly. At the top of the loop you can see water and a small beach area. I would stay off the rocks on the beach. Kids will have fun looking into some of the cells. But sadly most of the ones you can explore are covered in graffiti.

North point is a nice place for a quick family walk. The trails are mostly concrete and the brush is maintained.
The loops are short so getting lost is near impossible.
