A beautiful setting filled with rich history, fantastic views, and a good burn on the way up all the stairs. It's a short hike, but well worth it, especially if you go up and down the stairs twice.

Maybe our new favorite hike. Beautiful hiking trail, maintained very well, with some signs on a few of the cacti and plants growing along the trail, super fun. Felt like we were doing a Disney World hiking experience, which isn't to say it is easy. The trail starts off pretty tame until a bit after the 1.5 mile marker, then it starts getting a bit tougher.

I found the real challenge on the return, it was a good burn, nothing crazy, but definitely a workout, set in a gorgeous area, on a beautifully maintained hiking trail. Seemed to be a pretty popular trail, might want to do during the weekday.

They look great from the road, fun indentures to climb in, but the trails aren't very challenging, unless you create your own up the mountains, but the entire park seems to be littered with broken glass. I don't understand what is going on there, never seen anyplace in Metro-Phoenix that looked this way since moving here? A great easy trail for folks looking to just take a stroll or ride their bike or run around. Also a lot of bees towards the top of the mountains in various crevasses.

Great hike, very fun, not too challenging, but enough parts to get the heart rate going, would be a challenging run. Great views, a bit tourist like at the summit, Dobbins Lookout. But, still great views up there with a nice rock structure that's great for shade and cooling off. At the beginning of the trail there are petroglyphs on the eon old rocks. Super cool, be respectful to not touch the etchings.

Awesome hike, a lot of fun, challenging incline for the first half of trail, then it mellows nicely. Great views, some wild life, away from it all feeling in parts, and not overly crowded. The park has great bathrooms and sitting areas all around. Really beautiful and relaxing, even though the hike is a workout in parts.

Be careful on the way down, a lot of loose pebble and rocks that aren't great for descending down on, but manageable, just be mindful.

Great hike, with fantastic views, challenging in many parts. A lot of rock scrambling up and down the mountain, very fun, a lot of people on this trail and at the summit. Parking is very packed, you may not even be allowed in if it is full. Seems to be packed from about 10am-1:30pm.

Loved this hike, challenging, but not scary, fun, with beautiful views throughout. Very friendly people, and an easy enough summit to get to. There are other trails that lead off of this trail, so you can end up hiking for longer than expected, bring plenty of water.

Fairly easy trails, but the length and with a little improving, can become a challenging workout. Nice views, friendly folks, if you do go your own way, keep an eye out for mountain bikers who share the path, especially if you are hiking up the inclines that have hidden turns. The park is beautiful, and really has a nice tranquil feel to it.

I love this trail due to convenience. It's easy to travel on if you go up the paved sections. The inclines are steep in parts, good heart-rate inducing percentages, a real good workout, especially if you jog or run up those steep parts, or do the trail a couple of times. Nice views, nice people, can get crowded, especially the parking lot to the paved entrance.

The bigger parking lot starts off as a rocky trail which leads you up to the paved portion, that section is fun and a great starter.

Decent hike, not terribly challenging, and was completely empty. There are a lot of prickly vegetation growth along the trail, and you can get off trail on the SE side of the mountain fairly easily. There is some wild life here, saw some lizards, a family of jack rabbits, and two hawks decimating that family of jack rabbits.

Nice challenging, long, fun, great views, good folks, a bit scary, but not too much so to avoid. One of our favorite courses to hike in the city, the very peak is a little technical, but most of it is pretty straight forward. Bring enough water and a snack.

Nice scenary, not over crowded, with some good inclines if you don't mind improvising. If you enter from the 16th St. entrance and go left, you can tackle some good inclines going from the upper trail from the lower trail that runs along the N and E sides of the mountain.

Doing the entire loop is a good workout, but as others have mentioned, it's not terribly high, and thus not as difficult as something like Piestewa Peak.
