Old Tea House foundation at the top of Great Head, definitely at least go all the way across Sand Beach to check out the stream that filters into the ocean. If you watch closely, the stream keeps changing shapes bc of the sand and the current. HIDDEN BEAUTIES.

YOU CAN DO THIS HIKE. As long as you don't have an issues with vertigo or balance, anyone can do this if they take their time. This hike scares alot of people who come to Acadia, but you CAN do this, but don't bring super small kids. I'd say bring them up if 10 or over, just keep a close eye. It is worth every minute. Lots of rock scrambling, but lots of great traction bc of the granite and lots of foot/hand holds.

Beautiful trail, did this in late September. Perfect trail if you want to see HUGE MOSS COVERED BOULDERS and beautiful granite, definitely one of the quieter trails on the island. There were alot of black flies, but they don't bite and as long as you keep moving you will be fine. Fire tower at the top with an AMAZING view of Long Pond and the Cranberry Islands, the hike back down is totally different and AMAZING. I did this w my grandparents who are in their 70s, they did fine but there are some doable scrambles that they needed to slow down on. Super fun for kids. Do this one.
