Meh, very very easy trail only taking 15 to 20 min. Easy start to my hiking season. Nice spot for viewing some geese and ducks. Not really much else as far as scenery.

This city hike took about an hour and a half with dependent on tow. On this particular day, there was a lot of people on the trails. The early yellow leaves were pretty but surprising to see so early. Not too many water views and lookouts. And a good portion had too much construction going on. I liked going through the different areas whether a dark forest, an open meadow, a hill with tall grass or some river side trails.

So pretty! This hike took about 4 hours with some stops for eating, pictures and one pitstop. Many areas on the trail had puddles from the morning rain this day, but still very walkable. There is a fork in the path towards the end where the signage is not very clear as to where each directions leads (if you`ve never been that way before). A trail map at this point would have offered me the choice to go further. If there also had been more places for washrooms, I`d give this a 5 star. Otherwise the trail was active with many birds and squirrels.

A great spot to be in the trees. Great views of the North Saskatchewan River. There is one very good incline for a nice challenge.

A great area to bird watch! Among the numerous geese and their cute yellow goslings there are also mallard ducks, grebes, a couple of terns, comorants, red wing blackbirds, and during the summer a pelican. This walk took me approx. 40 min stopping to watch some of the birds and taking in the view of the lake.

Very lovely trail. I timed my walk at about 2 hours stopping for a snack and finding a good spot for throwing rocks into the water. Good for taking kids. Going in the Spring you'll see some beautiful white blossoms on some of the trees.
