Time to put signs in Chinese for water requirement. We met at least 6 people without water on our way back (we started at 7 am) and they were hiding in the shade as little as one mile in
Otherwise, probably one of the most beautiful landscapes views in any national park, stunning.

the hard part is the drive in, make sure you have no loose fillings in your mouth, it takes almost an hour to get in.
Although we went on a week day, the waterfall was very busy, so once we took some pictures we retreated back to the one of the many accessible natural pools we saw on the way. I just wish people were more considerate and stop littering such natural beauties with crap they no longe needed. SMOKING SHOULD ALSO BE BANNED!!!

    GOTCHA ALERTS, PLEASE READ
The Spring trail is well marked, however just like others said read the warnings and be well prepared.
WATER, WATER and more water. We finished one gallon each by the time we were done.
WHEN GETTING TO THE WOOD SIGN, TAKE THE DAM(N) RIGHT, the spring to the left takes to where the water comes out of the mountain. The DAM trail takes up about a mile straight to the pools and dam, AKA the toilet bowl and water fall.
You can also take Flume trails which is easier, alas longer and get to the exact same dam, Many families with kids take the Flume trail since it's not as rocky or steep, once again, read all the review and see my attached picture.

Very nice trails with not so nice facilities. no doors on the restrooms, no doggy bag stations like they have in the Scottsdale are.
Plenty of trails to choose from, most are numbered and clear.

I think it is a fairly boring trail. We did the clockwise loop, and after you climb and reach the top there are no more views...just forest walk. It's nice but nothing more. Note, there are two parking areas, so if you come from Prescott valley keep going beyond the the marked All Trails parking area, there is another one right behind the curve to your left.

Why would rate sickly a beautiful trail 1 star simply because you could find your way? Get all trails pro, download maps and never get lost.
    Absolutely great hike, great views

What a gorgeous trail. Try to avoid weekends it’s busier than the NY subway...
As many said, the first mile is pretty hard climb, but the views are stunning, so it’s worth every drop is sweat.

Beware if you d it with dogs, do it very early AM or when under 80. Our GSD is a good hiker and in great shape, and even though we did it in under 80 degrees she was got really tired in the end, and there are not too many shaded areas on the ridge, so make sure to have plenty of water. A camera is a must on a clear day, there are some breath taking views to the east. I prefer doing it south to north (sort of...) if you can, meaning when coming from the staging area, enter the scenic trail from the 2nd intersection with Pemberton, not the 1st one.

Real nice trails, would be nice if dog owners will pick the poop and take it away, some trails really stink!
