We did this hike on Saturday and it’s an easy hike with switch backs the whole way. As for the loop I don’t think many people attempt it because it is literally 2km straight down the mountain with loose shale and rock. Most people just go back the way they came. You can see the vehicles from the top where you park. It’s about 7km to the top and 7km back because most people don’t do the loop because it is over grown and dangerous .
As well at the very start of the hike when you get to the first and only creek crossing if you follow the stream up there are a bunch of really neat pools and someone’s put a rope to climb up to the top of the waterfall

We did this trail August 3 and we had perfect weather condition with it not being to hot or raining. I wouldn’t want to do this trail in the rain as it’s a steady climb right from the start with very few leveling out spots and no switch backs and would be super hard if wet with all the sliding rocks and roots on the trail. The trail is hard just because of the steady climb. We did it in one hours and forty minutes up and about the same down. The best views though are of Abraham lake by far so make sure to take a look behind you as you climb once you get in the clearings. The lake is okay but Abraham lake is much nicer by far. Decent outing and probably wouldn’t do it again unless camping from the lake and doing more hikes out.

Just finished hiking fryatt valley and it was amazing. We attempted to ride the bikes the first 10km but our bikes broke the first km so we walked it all. The views are amazing. We stayed at headwall camp ground which is in need of some love with only one picnic table and the tent pads aren’t all good. But we lucked out and had tent pad number five which was good. The mosquitoes are bad so bring lots of bug spray. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to go up headwall and take some time to explore the two lakes. The second one is further in. You follow the trail past the cabin and have to cross a creek, threw some muskag and around some big rocks but then your rewarded with a beautiful blue lake with mountains surrounding it.

You have to follow a fire road for a while or choose the harder trail that at least gives you views threw the switch back. Definitely a hard hike that just goes straight up. But your rewarded with a view of malign lake that is absolutely gorgeous

This hike is very reward for the not much elevation gain. We did it early June so we hit some snow but the views are unreal

Did this one for my stagette super easy hike you can either follow the train tracks or go threw the forest which is super pretty. Seeing the train cars in the forest is so cool but weird at the same time.

Trail has easy switch back but it’s a grind for the first 6km then you get the marker for Taylor meadows which we did. There was still tons of snow but worth the detour. On the way back we went the other way make sure not to miss the look out barrier well worth the 100 m detour
