Pretty easy trail, wonderful views of the river and even some spots that you can get down on the banks. I guess people can swim there since there were a lot of sandals and trash thrown around on some areas. We took the trail further down than what was on the app and found some nicer spots to view the river from. Overall my 6 year old had no problems. The way back up was a little rough since we were so hot but it wasn't to bad. I don't know how easy it would be if it had just rained as it seems like it would be hard due to the steepness of some areas so it probably gets slippery.

While it was a nice little hike, we were all very disappointed about the state of the trail. I guess there are people that go horseback riding on these trails so they were pretty messed up in some sections from the horses going through the trail when it was wet and there were some sections that were very soft from the horses ruining them and my husband almost lost a shoe. Would expect things to get soft if it had rained recently but it has been weeks since it rained. Overall an easy well marked trail that my kids didn't have any problem with and there were some nice views of the Patapsco River.

Went here with the kids and it was an easy trail to do. So much so we went around it twice! It was nice to have plaques around the trail with information about the various trees around the trail. The first half was pretty worn so the path was clear and easy, the second half however was overgrown in some parts and there some areas of the path that were washed out. Overall easy to do with kids and a dog.

This was a nice trail. It is very short so we added a couple of trail sections to it from the Old ranger Trail (blue) which made it about 2 miles. Still short but it was nice. We have had a lot of rain lately so around the pond was really muddy, but that gave us the chance to spy various animal tracks, which is one reason we went to begin with. Overall nice little walk today.

Went on this today and did the White Banks Trail which was almost 7 miles total. It was really very beautiful, there was lots of winding sections and the whole thing was in the shade. Make sure you have tick repellent with you as they are out already. Even with tick repellent I did get one on me, so check yourself. Overall it was very beautiful and I would recommend it. If it is a warm enough day then you can hit the swimming area when your done for a good place to cool off.

We always enjoy a good walk around the Harbor, there are always things going on and sometimes it is nice and quiet in the colder months. It can get really busy during the summer with all the people, but there are some amazing restaurants, neat history info along the way, and tons to do. We always go to the aquarium first and then around do the walk around. You do have to pay for parking and that can really add up if your not careful where you park.

We love this place, it has a dog park that we usually start out at to let the dog run free, then we travel around the duck pond which always has tons of ducks and oriels if you catch them on migration (the places fills up with them in the spring) and then we head to the playground which is really good, then we trek on over to the pagoda and back down to the car. On certian days the pagoda is open to go into, dogs can not go into the pagoda and I have never been in it as it always seems to be closed or I have the dog with me. This place can get crazy busy with dogs and kids on weekends and in the summer, but still a wonderful place. By far one of our favorite places in Baltimore near us to go.

Super easy trail, doesn't take long to get around but so beautiful in the summer with all the gardens in full bloom. Overall I like to go here when I don't have much time out but I need some retreat from the busy streets at home.

We took this trail today and it was ok. There are sections that have been clearly worn that go to the lake, the loop on the map goes into paths that are not there, overgrown so many briars. We should have just stayed on the well worn areas because trying to get a five year old and dog through the briars was awful. If we go back it's to the lake and out. We tried the recorder but had to turn it off as we started to run out of battery. There isn't a parking lot just a pull off of the road to park at a little ways down from where the map shows the trail head being.

We went out on this hike and the uphill on the first part was brutal. My five year old had to stop a number of times on the way up. Oldest son did better and the dog was fine. Make sure to bring lots of water on a hot day. If you go don't give up on the way the view was really beautiful. There were lots of rocks to sit and enjoy the view on and have a good little rest and a great place to sit and eat. I do have to say the sound of traffic was annoying. We were almost two miles in before you could hear the sounds of the highway any longer. Maybe the noise isn't so bad during the Summer when there are more leaves on the trees. All in all kids enjoyed it, after the long hike up.

Ended up just doing this section of the trail since a was closed due to flooding. It was wonderful, the kids had a blast, just wish I would have brought the dog. We left her at home since she isn't allowed on the A trail. My 5 year old and 12 year old loved the rock scrambles so much and the views were amazing. We will be back for sure to do the whole thing!

It's an urban walk for sure. Crosses some roads which is fine I guess if you don't have to worry about a skirmish dog and kids. There were lots of dogs on the trail some on leash, most off leash. If I lived there I think it would be fine but I don't think we will be back, even if it's only a very short drive from my house.

Trail wasn't marked very well in some spots. Make sure to park in the west view lot as that is where the tail starts and ends. There are some areas that aren't marked very well and some how we ended up getting turned around some where in between marker B5 and B6 and double backed. We didn't realize it until we hit a cross section again. While we didn't get to see White Rock we will go back and try again on another day. All in all the kids (5 and 12) and the dog enjoyed it. Tough with kids in some parts, but they have been hiking for a long time so it wasn't too bad.
