I really wanted to like this hike but I just didn't care for it. It is definitely a mild hike since there is very little elevation gain but it is also pretty long so I found myself getting bored about halfway through. (Pretty much just a walk through the woods the entire time).

Finding the trailhead through the app was a little bit difficult (I parked a little far away and then just guessed) but you pretty much just drive as far as you can down the road and start on the Snoqualmie Lake trailhead. I also had a difficult time finding the falls. There wasn't any signage really but luckily the ladies I passed on my way there told me where to go (although I still think I went the wrong way as it really didn't seem like much of a trail to get there..just kind of scrambled over the hill looking for the falls).

There weren't really any falls to speak of since it's summer but the rock formation was very beautiful. I can see why a lot of people enjoy this hike, it just wasn't for me. The one thing I did like though was the lack of people on the trail. I went with my dog on a Monday and maybe only passed about 4 people the entire time.

Really gorgeous hike! I was hesitant about going because I read about how overcrowded it gets but I went on a very warm Monday so I think the combination of the heat and a weekday made it much less busy. Still passed a good amount of people but there was not much traffic or congestion on the trail. The first part of it is a very gradual incline with a good amount of shade but once you start getting towards the top, it does become very exposed (so be prepared for this on a hot day!) It does get rocky at this point and there is a section of very rocky/somewhat steep switchbacks. I saw a bunch of people using hiking poles which are definitely recommended but I did it with hiking shoes and it didn't bother me too much. I took my dog on this trail as well and she did just fine. It may be a bit rocky for some pups but if they're used to hiking they should be fine. The lake itself is GORGEOUS and one of my favorite ones I've ever been to.

I would absolutely recommend this trail but from other accounts, I definitely recommend going on a weekday! Parking on a weekday was just fine too as the lot is pretty big.

I arrived late (1 pm-ish) on a warm, summer Sunday so the parking lot was very packed (over-flowing down the road pretty far). The trail itself was nice, definitely on the easy side of moderate. There are a few areas of incline and some steps involved to get to the viewpoint/lookouts but other than that it's not too bad. It was VERY busy when I went and lots of family and kids on the trail so it did get pretty backed up. I took my dog and she still got a good workout as did I. The falls are gorgeous, the upper ones are a little less exciting than the lower ones. Definitely a pretty hike but not sure if it's worth the crowds unless you are looking for something easier or more family friendly.

Short hike/walk down to the lake. I made the mistake of going to the south entrance of the park first and there really isn't much of a hike/walking area around there. For this one, you want to go to the North entrance across the river. The hike itself is very short (the only reason I gave 3 stars) but the lake is beautiful and very scenic. I took my dog and we had a nice afternoon in the sun. Definitely a very easy/short walk through the campground to get to the lake.

Really lovely hike. Beautiful views of the water and the mountains from the bluff. If you park and start by the cemetery then it starts out pretty flat. I wasn't looking for anything too difficult so I hiked out to see the water and then walked along the bluff. I believe you can go all the way down to the beach if you'd like though. I had my dog with me and it was perfect for her too.

Really beautiful view at the top and a tough hike to get there. I chose this because it was rated moderate but wasn't looking for anything too strenuous but I honestly would rate this more towards difficult. The entire way there is uphill and about 4 miles worth of it. We went on a cold day but I sweating hard halfway through. Maybe I am just out of shape as we saw some people running this like it was no big deal. It was super fun to watch the paragliders at the top. Very relaxing up there. There's not a ton of scenery along the way although it's a nice, shaded trail. Parking was really easy on a Friday during the day but it was a pretty chilly day so the trail wasn't super busy either.
