Definitely would recommend this hike. It's really two parts, the first easy and flat and the second a very difficult hike up the wooded side of the hill. Lots of trail searching but a spectacular view from the top and really interesting and enormous rocks, as if they've been placed there on purpose. Here's more detail:

If you want to feel like a villager on a hike, this is the trail. It's an old goat path that has fairly recently been marked and added to an official list of points of interest. The trail is fairly well marked with signs pointing the way, blue and white blazes, red and white plastic ties on trees, and sometimes yellow spray paint on trees and rocks. Occasionally, though, you'll find yourself at a marker looking for the path, because the path itself is almost non-existent. My wife and I had several times where we had to look around for a minute to find which direction we were supposed to go. We always managed to find it no problem in the end. The first section is on a flat dirt path, but the real fun starts when you leave the path. There is an incredibly steep climb for around a mile with almost no visible path (even though this part is very well marked and easy to navigate), meaning you're clutching on to trees and rocks for support. The view from the top, however, is breathtaking and certainly worth it. There is even a spot for a tent behind the rocks, so overnight camping is possible and recommended.
