Awesome little trail for a day hike. The trail starts with a decent amount of incline to about a mile of flat cruising before a challenging half mile of intensive incline. The views are hidden from you because of the steepness, so you only get to see the views at the top. Nifty little peak with nice views

Nice, easy hike overall. I personally am not a big fan of the hikes on off-road trails/roads, and this one is one of those, but there are nice views with lots of shade. Did this hike for the sunset and it lives up to it’s name. Solid views of the sunset. The only downside is how the trail is an unpaved road.

This is a very beautiful trial that is pretty easy, and I highly recommend it for a nice day hike with some friends. This trial is not too heavily trafficked, beautiful views almost the whole entire trail. Make sure you take the short detour to visit the peak of Mt. Islip!

I wasn’t able to complete this hike because I didn’t have enough food and daylight to complete it, but this hike is a straight up relentless beast. It seems easy at first, but it gets mentally challenging as you go. This hike will get you questioning if you should turn back or not. The last mile is 2,000 feet of elevation gain. I can’t stress enough how crucial hiking sticks are for this trail. You will need them for the steep incline, and on the way down. Also, the trail can get narrow at times with lots of yucca plants. Wear long pants! The trail blazers of this trail really tried to mess with us hikers. Instead of going around the hills, the trail goes straight up over the hills only to go right back down which kills your determination even more. I will be doing this hike again to complete it, only next time I may bring overnight gear.

Nice little short hike. Nothing too steep, great for beginners. When you reach the parking lot at the end, you can take a short detour to the right to a steep incline to a nice view on the rocks

Tends to be a bit crowded at times, but a nice hike overall with very nice views.

Very challenging hike that will get you panting and breathing for every bit of air. The views are gorgeous, but the peak tends to be very crowded.

This trail is way too populated and very crowded. The swimming/jumping at the creek below is also crowded as well. Aside from that, its not a bad hike.

Did this hike at 3:00 AM to catch the sunrise, nice hike, and not too challenging. Pretty solid view as well.

The trail isn’t even a hiking trail, its an offroad trail. I couldn’t even tell it was a spring when I reached it. It was completely dry, and not worth it at all. I ended up hiking up another 3 mi or so to find a nice view

This trail is a bit longer than 5 mi one way, more like 6 mi, but it is a great hike with amazing views. (Theres a really cool abandoned mineshaft on the way up on your right!)

The trail is very dense with vegetation due to the fact that it is not traveled often. I got poison oak on the trail because of it, make sure to be well clothed. Very dry also. There seems to have been a fire as many trees are charred. The view is quite nice though. Great view of the mountains and ocean with the nearby islands.

Lots of incline for most of the way, but a very nice short little trail. Very nice views at the top as well!

This trail leads to nothing. I thought it would lead to the dome like rock as seen in the pictures, but it dosen’t. Has average views here and there, but lots of people and the sound of the freeway is present too.
