Very nice hike! Hyper nice and fun to walk! Not too long and beautiful little waterfall in the end!

Great hike along the coast and through mangroves. Saw numerous crabs, butterflies and critters. Definitely recommend early start as sun can be brutal but ocean breezes help. I would do the decline first in the loop as it is an asskicker if done at the end. Trail is rocky at times and generally easy to follow. No water or restrooms available. There is a gravel road prior to trailhead that can add 20 minutes to the hike if you don't want to drive to the trailhead.

Nice hike on dry and not too warm days. Start your hike early in the morning as the mangroves can be steamy between noon and 15 PM. Be sureto bring enough water/ drinks and some food. Don’t forget your sun protection and a hat/ cap.

Beautiful hike! Magnificent view! Unfortunately, sargasse problem during our visit. Environmental scourge. I recommend everyone to do it!

more of a walk than a hike but stunning views. almost completely shaded, lush, and a charming restaurant at the end in the rainforest. (closed mondays) approx 10 miles round trip if you start from Le Carbet waterfront but could rent a car to the trail head. Was totally open and well travelled.

Us Canadians aren't used to some sheer dropoffs in public recreation areas, as is the case with parts of this trail. However, the vistas are spectacular, and the trail is definitely worthy of a return trip. There was a downpour for a portion of our trek, which made paying attention to one's footwork even more important. The hisyory of this trail also makes it a must see.

My review was actually used as the description above! Stupendous views, and passes through several ecosystems - mangroves, rocky shore, scrub forest.
