Located on the northwestern section of Penang Island, Penang National Park or Taman Negara Pulau Pinang was created to protect the biodiversity that inhabits the island. Entrance to Penang is free however if visitors want to do the canopy walk, there is a fee. The canopy walk is one of Penang's most popular attractions. At 250 meters long, the canopy walk is built by rope and surrounding trees. Visitors will be able to see views of the rainforests below. Besides the canopy walk, Penang National Park has much to offer! Check out the various hiking trails or hang out on the beaches. A popular one is Monkey Beach, which like its name is inhabited by monkeys. Visitors can also go wildlife viewing, keep an eye out for dolphins, great egrets, otters, and hawksbill turtles!Show more
