The start of the walk was nice but the trail coming down was very hard.

Hiking here almost every weekend... there are 2 ways to the waterfalls shorter or longer trail. For longer trail you need a good or reasonable good fitness level... Up and down of 3 to 4 hills.

Quite challenging and exciting esp those uphill trails. The waterfall was very cool

Popular, well marked trail. Hindu temple next to car park at the bottom. Shrine at start of trail. Steep up, easy down. Several resting spots. Good views of the city. Gym on top. Monkeys and wild boars.

About 30-40 mins up depending on your speed. Just after you start your trail, there is a junction which decides whether you would encircle/complete the hike from the left or right. We opted for the left and found it had some really steep climbs. Along the route and at the peak / rest area, we saw 2 wild boars appear used to presence of humans and perhaps been fed before. Saw some adolescence trying to play with it and it appears to approach cautiously sniffing and upon realizing there's no food, decides to back off and run away. They appear harmless or not aggressive, but I recommend not approaching it yourself for affraid it will feel threatened and decides to charge at you. We reached a part with good view of the city around after 75% of the journey. I guess if you just want the best view, you can start the journey from the right trail instead. Overall hike feels short enough to make this a regular casual weekend routine, but long enough to sweat it out. We took approximately 1h 40m to return back on the same trail we started and that includes plenty of rest time and photo sessions.

Recommended trail! Lots of stations in between. People here seem to be a frequent who knows the place very well. Recommended

Entrance to the trail very difficult to find due to a massive constriction site of a new development obstructing it. you basically have to force your way through the fence to access. its it's only a steep climb up and down and up and down with very slippery parts. definitely not for kids and not for people without proper shoes. the waterfall is not worth it either. not a place that I would recommend to anyone as the tremendous physical effort you need to invest in it is not paying off: no nice views from the top no nice waterfall no special fauna or flora. and this trail should really not be classified as moderate

The trail is currently closed due to works on the slope repair. We arrived at the entrance near the chinese temple on 23 February 2019 morning but was told by the guard not to enter the trail due to the construction hazard. We were told by one hiker that he entered earlier before the construction works start at about 8am

Quite a challenging trail. Please be careful not to end up at the wrong exit as there are a number of options for entrances/exits.

Clearly marked trails, nice. Easier ascent going left to right through stations 6, 5 then down through 3a, 1 back to car park. Prepare for a sharply steep section going down to waterfall.
