Seems to be a lot of scamming going on here. We purchase some passes from someone on here yesterday and the ranger didn’t let us in cause someone else already used them. These people are passing these tickets around. We really enjoyed the hike and actually have 2 extra shuttle passes we don’t need. April 15, 2021Thursday, April 15,2021 Garmin logged 6.87mi and 518’ at 4h48m Beautiful day on this trail. Slightly crowded but most wore masks and you can still stay distant from others. A combination of kids and older folks, making it great for a family trip. I rented a full bib and highly recommend that. The water was more than waist deep in some places. I wore just a t-shirt and it was a little windy at times but I was fine. Many wore jackets. You are in the shade about 90% of the time and it is much cooler inside the canyon. The way back is also way quicker - it flew by! The walking stick that comes with your bib package is a necessity. Some people wore shorts and chackos - I think this would work well in the summer but in this season I’d be prepared to be cold and risking your toes a lot on the slippery rock in high water. I didn’t do the full narrows due to time but did the offshoot canyon at the fork and it was so quiet and beautiful!
