Zion National Park Map

A lot harder than we anticipated!! I should have read the reviews. The service was good so using my All Trails app I could tell we were moving in the correct direction. THERE IS A LOT OF SAND and IT IS VERY STEEP SAND. It was exhausting but beautiful views, we could see the Court of the Patriarchs and all the nearby monuments beautifully.

Awesome!! A little bit more difficult than we were expecting but 100% worth it! We did this to break up a long day of driving from Santa Fe to Zion. Also it’s fun to say hoodoo.

Great short hike with a nice view at the end. Very busy, however.

The map on the bottom isn’t correct. We climbed around the throne, which was more moderate than easy and still couldn’t find the red slot in the pictures. The throne view was nice, but better directions would be appreciated.

Great hike - we had 5 little ones (ages 5-7) in tow and there are some mildly hairy parts but overall the entire group loved the hike and the views!

Fun hike - only one dogs can do in the park

Such a great hike! Not too difficult, beautiful terrain, spectacular views, good for kids (maybe 7 and up). Don't miss the parking lot! If you're approaching from the west....turn right immediately out of the tunnel! It's a little difficult to turn around if you miss it and you can't get into the lot if going the other direction; you'll have to park along the narrow road. Shade is scarce so go in the morning if it's summer.

Super easy trail. First hike we did in Zion in October 2017. Views are astounding.

Great easy trek if you are visiting Zion in the off season and still want to get a great vista without the snow climbing. Very easy hike in about half a mile with a fun bridge to cross and a jaw dropping scenery once you reach the end. It’s about a mile round trip, good easy activity.

Short and sweet trail! We didn’t do the whole trail just to the first toad stool. If you walk fast takes about 30ish minutes there and back. Very interesting view. Almost seems like it should be on another planet.

Tough to find the trail. We ended up climbing the first part of the throne in deep loose sand and it was hard!! It was beautiful but definitely not easy if you don’t find the trail. Lot of deep sand. Ended up more difficult than anticipated and maybe it was because we really couldn’t find the trail.

This trail is so beautiful so much different terrain. Longer than a mile round trip probably 1.5 but easy!

Short hike with beautiful views at the end. Fairly easy for all ages.

Quick, easy hike. Interesting one with lots of variances. Great view

Fun little hike with a lot to see. Did this hike at the spur of the moment on our way out of the park. It was an easy trail but don’t take it for granted. We had already changed our shoes and wished we had our hiking shoe back on. Very cool rock formations up at the observation area.

Great stop on our way to Zion. The Hoodoos were fun to see as were the rest of the rock formations. Cold and windy today but well worth the hike.

A fun little hike that follows the Virginia river up from the Zion NP visitor center to till its terminus at Zion Park Blvd. An easy hike that allows for views of the pink and red sandstone cliffs that are the hallmark of Zion National Park. Would have like to have had more time in Zion, and will be going back, however being the beginning of spring break the park was crazy crowded.

I love the view, just too short. It’s easy, not hard.

Great! Be sure to cover the walking path in the map above, especially at the end toward the left!

It does have steep drop offs I was nervous with my 3 year old. But she listened good and it was a great hike!

Beautiful view.

Toadstools are a funny experience, many features of sand and stone erosion, no shade, not overcrowded

It was a fairly easy and short hike and the view was out-standing. We got to the top just as the sun was rising and words can’t describe how beautiful it is. Fantastic!

Great Kids hike with cool rock formations!

Awesome trail and views. Morning light is best.

it's not a hike - it's a simple walk up a short, paved path. the view is beautiful though!

I liked this trail and would suggest if you want to see and really have time to see all the hoodoos, set aside 2-3 hours. Though we spent about 2 hours (20 minutes to walk in, 20 to walk out from the main hoodoo, then the rest of the time in the hoodoo forest), I'd like to have even more time here! If you just want to walk in and out without seeing and enjoying the scenery, 1 hour is probably more than enough. The day we went we did not see everyone go to the end of the trail... many went to the first large hoodoo, and turned around from there.

Perfect place to watch sunset! Very easy hike, good viewpoint.

Excellent short trail which is well-trafficked during the day. Worth doing since it's barely a mile off the 89.
