Our group ranged in age from 4 to 69, avid hikers to couch potatoes and everyone LOVED it!!! We all would do it again!

great hike, did it with my 5 year old.

stop at the sweet spot for pan it and drinks.

Not too challenging. Majestic views! Hike follows the Virgin river. Passed a waterfall that was flowing despite no recent rain. Take the emerald pools trail for an added challenge.

This was maybe one of the most fun hikes I’ve done to date!!

Absolutely amazing! Breathtaking and worth every step!

Easy enough hike, could be at the top and down again in under an hour. If you are looking to stretch the legs before a more advance hike I suggest this one. Views are incredible from above

One of my favorite trails!

our first time to zion and our first hike. it was short and fairly easy for adults. we have a 7 and 10 year old and there were a few ledges that made my heart pound. otherwise there was no complaining. the view at the end was beautiful. parking was tough, we arrived at 10am.

easy hike, if you can call it that. it is less than 30 minutes but a fun experience if you have the time.

This is a great hike! Fairly shaded most of the way, which is nice when it's hot! This hike is best in the summer because of the falls at the end is very temperature cool, and I would recommend water shoes or hiking sandals because you will walk through the water. It's a really fun hike, very beautiful place!

You can make this trail as easy or hard as you want to; the trail outlined here is pretty steep, but there are places less steep to make it up. Gorgeous; and we were the only ones out on the trail.

Short, easy hike. Nice cool place

Definitely worth it! Less known and less crowded than the other hikes. Saw a great herd of bighorn sheep on the way. A great place to cool off with some fun rock climbing and rocks to jump off of into the pools.

Although the grade is steep to walk up to the falls, I didn't feel this was a hike - more of a walk up to the falls. This is a good trail for families because it's paved and wide. Just be careful nobody slips on the water.
This is a short hike, so every time I'm in Zion, I tack it onto my other hikes.

Love this hike. What a find just a few miles off the 15. Well worth the $9 entrance fee.

Easiest to jump in the creek and follow it up the canyon. Perfect for summer afternoon. Tracked it at approx. 2.7 miles and 1 hour to the 2nd ladder but I was moving at fairly quick pace. Appears trail continues quite a distance past the 2nd ladder with even taller canyon walls at some point but had to turn back before sunset. Will definitely return.

Easy mile, only took 12 minutes including a stop after the initial stair climb. Great view at the end.

Great views but beware that this hike can be challenging because of narrow hiking paths which are dangerously close to cliffs. For anyone wary of their balance or does not like to hike close to severe drop offs, don’t go on this hike

One of my favorite hikes so far. The waterfall was an amazing end to the hike.

Awesome hike! Definitely will do it again when we’re in the area

very short steep hike, less than 10 minutes to the top.

Terrific views of the canyon! Relatively easy hike, but as mentioned you’ll want good sturdy shoes as there are a couple of dicey spots. Definitely recommend.

I think this might be my favorite hike to date! Go! You won’t be disappointed.

I wish people would not describe this trail as easy. It certainly is not long, but if you are not confident when the trail narrows to about 14 inches across then don’t bother. It is very frustrating to climb most of the way only to reach a point where a slight misstep could send you plunging to the bottom of the canyon. I was terrified but knew my limits. I turned back.

Easy short trail with very nice plants and very good views

Great reward for little effort! Please wear proper shoes if you have them - I saw a lot of people wearing sandals or even runners and slipping around. This trail has drop offs and could definitely be dangerous if not done properly!
In saying that, I would definitely recommend it :) the cave was a nice place to cool down on a 41 (115) degree day. Only probably took an hour all up, including time at the viewpoint, stopping and waiting for *numerous* people (its crowded and a narrow trail haha) and me not being in any hurry.
I was lucky enough to get a park somehow, but it’s right turn only (you can’t directly enter from the east entrance without U turns) and there aren’t many parks!

Did this trail on 26Jul18 @ around 11 am. There were only a couple of sketchy spots that upon first glance, didn't know if I could make it-2nd ladder was one of them. Made it to the end. Water was 3 ft deep in a couple of spots, but nice and refreshing with the hot temp. As everyone tells you, second ladder has a couple of loose steps. Be careful. All in all, 100% worth doing. 12 of 10 stars. *Note that this trail is ~2.7 miles one way and the full trail is longer than 5.

We did this hike today with our dog. Yes, with our dog. We asked at the payment booth and the guy working it said that dogs are allowed now, they just haven’t changed the signs. It was a good hike. Very beautiful and quite refreshing with all the water crossings. It was, however, a very busy trail. My husband went to the second ladder, but since we forgot the doggie back pack I stayed back with our pup. It was so busy, we couldn’t even get the iconic ‘falls with ladder’ photo because all we would have gotten were peoples butts as they descended the ladder.

Great hike! Water was cold but overall worth the time! Grandson who is 9 years old love it. In one part, waded in water that was thigh high. 2nd ladder was a bit scary but we made it. Will make this an annual event!

Nice moderate mid level view. Nothing over the top stunning, except a few mule deer. Is a nice short hike to wind down a long day.
