Really easy, quick and rewarding. Brook and falls are beautiful.

Great trail. Got to the trailhead at 9am - it wasn't too busy, but I still had company on the trail the whole time. Made for great conversation. Views were amazing. Went counterclockwise, as others recommended.

You do have to pay $5 for parking at the trailhead. There may or may not be trail stewards present, but they don't have a cash box, so be sure to have money ready.

Beautiful walk. Too popular at peak times.

The hike itself is pretty in spots but I don't think it's worth paying for. It's a very easy walk with very minimal elevation gain and is heavily traveled so expect to wait behind people on the boardwalk.

This is my new favourite place in NH! A beautiful and easy path to the falls that are seriously just stunning. Parking was an issue, as the lot is small, and you can’t park on the road so get there early.

Very easy walk and highly recommend for kids!

Nice easy walk in the woods to the falls. On the way here we saw a young moose by the side of the road.

Great walk with dog. Trails are well taken care all the way to the bath. Will be back to go past the bath.

One of my favorites hikes. It is always beautiful and the views from the ledges are great. Good views for the effort.

easy and beautiful views

The beginning is steep, but the majority of the trail is not too difficult. Waterfalls at the end are great.

Very easy hike, the views are amazing. Well worth the money

the hike was really nice and easy, the views are gorgeous. i will most likely vist again if i ever pass there.

This trail was really beautiful. We stopped many times to admire the surroundings. I see what people mean by starting counter clockwise. There was a lot of climbing smooth, steep rock that would have been very scary going down on. It did start raining while we were coming down. This made things slippery, so use caution if you’re ascending in these conditions. We didn’t have much of a view because it was so foggy but will definitely have to try this again on a clear day.

Easy trail, relatively flat trail. Wide paths and well marked until you arrive at the bath site. I wouldn't recommend in september or during the dry season due to not much water flow.

We really enjoyed this hike! Bring your bug spray! There was a passing rain shower on our way down so some spots got slick. But the trail is very well maintained. The grade of this hike is steep at times, but the view was worth it! We only hike a few times a year and completed this in 3.5 hours.

Went hiking with my girlfriend for our anniversary, and she fell in mud, slipped on the way back landing on her butt, and got a really good workout. So all in all, it was a really good day. Long hike for sure, and the lake is pretty small, but really nice.

Fast, fun hike with a nice view. Worth the climb. Took us, what felt like 20-25 mins.

Excellent loop hike, but heed all the warnings regarding going counterclockwise, and do not go at all if it is wet. The views are excellent- I especially like looking back at Welsh to see what you accomplished.

Serious bang for your buck on this one. It's difficult for a "moderate" hike - don't underestimate, and listen when they say to go counterclockwise (take a right at the first fork), and you'll be fine. Took a little under 4 hours and we stopped to admire the views quite a few times, and for a while. We got there a little after 08:00 and had the mountain pretty much to ourselves.

Beautiful view! I can really recommend this one when trying to get an amazing look on the White mountains and New Hampshire. There is a 360° view point at the top. Definitely go counterclockwise otherwise not very fun. And don't recommend it when it's raining since it can get slippery very easy. Loved that trip!

Amazing 360 degree view from summit. Steep climbs at times. Finished in 4.5 hrs. Great views on bugles cliff half way up mountain. Very tough rock climbing right before the summit.

Great hike. Took two dogs one older and they both made it up. but definitely challenging. Many rocks and some steep inclines. The hike had some challenging parts but since it was a cooler day and dry it was fun! Loved the view from the top. Parking filled up fast to go early. They also have good bathrooms since it’s also the camp site but no trash for the dog poop.

Not very good for viewing

Beautiful view !

First half is pretty easy, gets a little steeper through the middle and then it levels out once you get closer to the lake. Really nice views all around the lake, didn’t go in for a swim just because it was a little cooler out but look forward to coming back on a hot summer day!

Great hike. Steep at the beginning; good workout. Beautiful lake at the top and a flat loop that goes around it. Plenty of places to stop and admire the beauty. We had a gorgeous day and will certainly do this one at some point in the future, maybe adding the ridge trail.

great time
