great trail and view.would rate it above easy though.

The Falls are so close to the parking area this is not much of a hike but the 3 tiers of Falls are stunning

We love this for small children.

After getting lost on the windy gravel road, then trying to get to the trailhead on the washed out dirt road, I didn't start the hike too happy....but once on the trail found it to be very beautiful, mostly wooded until you get to the falls. The grade is fairly easy down to the river and falls. The falls are very nice and there is a sandy area where it would be nice to hang out on a hot day and wade in the water.
I do recommend parking your car at the beginning of the dirt road that leads to the trail head. It is about a half mile hike down to the trailhead, but better than taking out the bottom of your car.

I would say easy/Moderate trail. Some narrow paths, and a lot of roots. However we took our 2 & 3 year old kids and they walked it there and back no problem. In fact my 2 year old was tugging on me to hurry. It’s definitely worth the hike. Very serine, and the waterfall is absolutely beautiful.

The road getting to the trail was a little rough. You drive over two creeks. The trail is beautiful. The waterfalls are clean and flowing strong.

a little hard to find the trailhead. unless you have a good 4x4 don't try to drive down the dirt road, just walk it to be safe. Really fun waterfall with great swimming hole in the summer! Lots of fun!

Angel Falls and the smaller Panther Falls are the hidden gems of this area. Very close to the crowded Minnehaha Falls but with much less traffic. A very easy trail to follow along the creek.

Beautiful falls, easy trail, easy to find!

We were in the area and found the trail to the King. It's a 20 min. hike from Burrell's Ford campground. Great hike but after a recent snowfall, the last hundred yards to the falls were icy and quite the challenge. The view at the falls was definitely worth the risk. The water was gushing and the trickle falls to the side were iced over. Spectacular to say the least.

Just an okay hike. Definitely recommend walking in instead of driving, the road was awful and had huge holes/ravines when I went in January. Not that impressive of a waterfall but a nice hike for an afternoon.

This fall is actually broken up by an upper and lower Licklog Falls. The upper are hard to get a good photo op of as there is no way to get close to them but they are a sight to enjoy. The lower falls are a short ways up but there is a steep trek down to them. I saw a review that stated not for children but we had three 11 year olds and one 8 year old who had no issues.

Easy hike. Dog friendly. Great view of falls from river bed. Trail is well groomed and clearly marked.

Nice easy hike. Water fall was very nice

Easy trail to follow, a good hike for any level, and a good view once you arrive to the fall.

Beautiful trail! Just when we thought it ended we continued past the first fall and took it all the way up! Loved the organic feel to this location. We were able to squeeze this in after visiting Tallulah and Minnehaha.

We did this trail a few in late November and really enjoyed it. Our kids are 6 and 8 and have grown up hiking and this trail was perfect for them. The waterfalls are pretty. Our dog really enjoyed the water too

Love it

Neat place. Hike was interesting as it was more climbing than hiking.

Awesome trail, but rember it's Panther falls you view first then Angel falls so go further to see them all.

Great easy trail with two nice waterfalls.

Not a bad walk in, dogs are allowed. Beautiful & tall waterfall.

My hike from the visitor center included both Bearwallow Overlook and Bearwallow Falls. Despite lower expectations, I was still disappointed after hiking to Rainbow and Turtleback Falls earlier in the day. While the view from the overlook is pretty, it is hindered by the lines overhead. And the distant view of the falls, after the short hike down to the viewing platform, was not that inspiring. With so many beautiful waterfalls in the area, this trail left a little more to be desired.

I reviewed this with the Horsepasture Trail. We did the mile hike from visitor center. There's a parking area and picnic shelter even closer. Easy and short, just didn't get great view of the lower part of falls, which would have made it prettier I'm sure. Ok for a little short excursion.

Good starting hike
