Short walk to an absolutely beautiful fall! My Jeep Compass performed perfectly on the dirt drive to the location. Lots of mushrooms and pretty ferns to view along the walk. Overnight camping is permitted in select areas surrounding the waterfall if you wish. I cannot wait to walk this one again in the winter!

Great hike in and out with beautiful spots all along the way. For those who are inexperienced with hiking, I would consider this moderate instead of easy for the distance and the trail itself with a good portion of it being uneven terrain with roots coming up from the ground and some parts that are narrow with cliff drops. The hike back out would be the more difficult with an incline all the way back up. Bring plenty of water on hot humid days.

The scenery on this hike is quite attractive and the hike going to the falls is easy. Moderate on the way back since there is a lot uphill walking. Very good hike it want to have plenty of time left in your day afterwards.

Nice, short hike with the dog. Moderate enough to get a good sweat started but not too hard to slow you down. Very pretty.

Pretty falls! Watch for snakes though!

Beautiful hike and easy trail.

Nice short hike with a great payoff at the falls.

great trail. 4x4 access road gets you a little closer. also has spots for camping

This was an amazing start to the many trails we covered this weekend. The trails are navigatable but I used walking sticks to help a little climb up and down the terrain. Going to the bottom was well worth it. A family brought a picnic and sat on the rocks at the first area of falls to enjoy the scenery. So worth it if you want to try your skills at hiking along tree roots to get around.

Very beautiful sets of falls. However mileage is closer to 1.45 in and 1.45 out to the road trailhead for a total of about 2.9 to 3 miles RT. Whoever posted this and said 1.1 in and 1.1 out must have been at the Rabun Beach campground trailhead. Trail is easy/moderate to the second set of falls and then moderate/difficult to the final and third set of falls. Overall worth the 3 miles.

There is a road if you have a truck.... that goes to the trial head... makes it a little hard till you get to the trial head.. after that it is really nice!! We really enjoyed it!! Water is nice and falls are beautiful! Must see at least once!

Absolutely beautiful! I’m new to hiking and out of shape but it was easy for me. Very short hike, but took a bit of time to get to the bottom because of careful footing. So worth it!!! After parking, it took just a couple minutes to the Falls. The trail to the left leads to one waterfall, then to the right 3 more waterfalls. Camping areas were spacious and fairly clean (especially for being the day after Labor Day.) It was pretty muddy and rocky but so much fun. Bring LOTS of bug spray

Beautiful falls! The trail was challenging but fun. My 11 year old was a little nervous going down but we made it. Great swimming at the bottom.

Took about an hour there and back taking our time. Good hiking that not too hard but gives you a workout.

Awesome

Great Trails! Bring a truck for the 2 mile long drive down the gravel road

Amazing trail! wonderful sandy beach! Can't wait to hike it in all 4 seasons! Next time I will definitely take my Jeep on down the dirt road to make the trip shorter. The road is not too bad could probably been done without 4WD.

The falls were very picturesque! Would be a fun swimming hole in the summer. The dirt road leading up to the trail head had to be walked if you didn't have a very rugged 4×4 vehicle. Makes a great afternoon trip for families. Don't forget to pack a picnic!

Extremely easy hike with a great payoff at the end. A nice little beach area to camp or relax during a hot summer day. Highly recommended.

Make sure to visit all three levels of the falls. My dog and I took a quick dip in the lowest level and it was amazing! Very easy hike although the trails to the falls can be precarious.

Really cool trail. Very scenic drive in. Beautiful lake. Very nice falls. We got to the 1st falls and thought we were done. Make sure to double back up to the left. Angel falls is actually at the end of the trail. Probably one of my favorite falls so far. Very scenic trail. Would recommend checking this one out.

unfortunately I had to walk the extra mile getting to my destination because I don't drive a 4×4. heading to the falls is the best part. during summer us more busy but it's still a very beautiful place to visit. definitely kid friendly. coming back walking seems to never end but worth every minute.

one of the most beautiful spectacular views, if your able to go to the lowest level of the falls you won't regret it. I got chills just seeing the beauty that God created.

Easy hike out to beautiful falls! A hidden gem!

We loved this, but it was some work to get down to see falls. Worth the effort, but need to be in good shape.

Nice little hike.. not difficult at all and even small children can do that... the waterfall at the end is really beautiful!!

My favorite hike so far. The drive up is cool. Lots of beautiful homes. The trail is through a very green forest. I was waiting for elves and fairies to start jumping out at us! The waterfall at the end empties into a clear, shallow pool that’s not scary if you have kids or dogs. We went early and were completely alone. On the way back we ran into quite a few people. So, go before lunchtime if you like to be alone. Afternoon if you like to have people around.

Worth the hike to the falls. Not to steep some climbing nothing to hard, our 3 year old loved it. Our dog enjoyed it as well. wear closed toe shoes very wet trail. Take water with you as well. Well maintained tail and very well marked. if you haven't been deff worth the trip!!! lots of wildlife & birds.

Took two dogs. Very narrow if your dogs haven’t been hiking then not a place for them. Wear hiking boots as it’s very narrow and muddy. Short but pretty once you get to the bottom. If you want to get wet it’s not too deep but cold.
