Yosemite National Park Map

If you want to see a waterfall but are short on time, this is one to see. Best time to go is in the spring/early summer when the snow is melting.

amazing view. you can see upper and lower falls and also half dome.

Did this in the winter and it was a beautiful.

Magnificent view!

This is one of my favorite hikes in the park. Amazing 360 views on the top of the dome. View of half dome Yosemite falls Nevada and vernal falls. And it’s absolutely stunning!! A Must do in Yosemite. It’s worth it to make it to the top if you take your time anyone can do it !!!

This is an amazingly wonderful hike. Has great views and a fairly easy/moderate skill level. Shady trees in most spots.

Nice view everywhere

Easy yet so fun

Not really a hike (all flat) but worth seeing!

Best kept secret in the valley. Steep hike out and no water sources so will need to pack water if staying over night. Beats staying in a crowded camp site and provides 360 degrees of the valley.

Easy trail for beginner and family with children. I and my husband spent wonderful time. The road was paved. We enjoyed scenery. We spent 4 hours. Nice trail, but it will be crowded during the warm season. Come early and find the parking and enjoy your walking/hiking.

Very easy paved trail, great views of the fall.

Beautiful dome at the end of trail with fantastic valley views, as well as the views of half dome, Yosemite falls and el cap. It was not super crowded so it feels like a relatively quieter experience compared to glacier point which is crawling with people (not underestimating glacier point though, it is still a must visit).

Make this a 5 star hike by traversing the
entire dome, dropping off the Northern end, down to the Tuolumne River then return via the trail at the eastern base of the dome.

We did this hike yesterday. Nervous that it might be too icy/ snowy at this time of year but it was a lovely hike. We hiked up the 4 miles trail & came down this trail. Spectacular day in Yosemite.

Absolutely stunning views! The sun was creating a rainbow effect in Yosemite Falls! Not a difficult hike per se, but the reality check for the novice hiker: my Fit Bit was giving me a ‘Woo Hoo’ for climbing 73 flights (at 8000+elevation)! I plan to hike this again.

Light traffic, no crowds, just pure enjoyment. Easy hike to the dome from Taft Point trailhead. Went ahead and took the path to Glacier Point after. Great way to spend Thanksgiving!!

Amazing views as a reward for an easy climb.

absolutely beautiful view, 360 degrees. I will do it again

Beautiful view ...

A classic and easy.

Beautiful views, but holy anxiety attack! If you have a fear of heights, skip this trail. I did a quick peek at the overlook and had to take off. The drop off was crazy!

Absolutely stunning 360 degree views. You get a great look at El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and some wildfires in the background. Also make sure to see the fallen Jeffrey Pine tree on top, made famous by Ansel Adams. This trail is a must do if you are on Glacier Point Road. Combine it with Taft Point for an unforgettable experience.

Very nice, easy trail to get to the base of the falls. It was low flowing in October, but still beautiful to witness. The trail is flat and wide, makes for a nice stroll. Pretty crowded though.
