Pretty crowded hike but beautiful views. Got to the top in about 2 hours. Bring lots of water, even in November it got really hot.

great view, kids and dog friendly, the lake is an amazing meditation place

Great hike, the rock scramble by the waterfall is terrible. Once you get through it evens out a lot and is so much better.

On the way down you can crab walk or butt scoot next to the waterfall for the first portion. Its a little dangerous and I only recommend it for advanced hikers. You get down a lot faster and its so much more fun than the rock scramble. Be safe and watch out for smooth granite. This hike is great and is really pretty. Goodluck and have fun!

Hard at times due to continued climbing up, but it’s worth every step because of the amazing views at the very top.

Awesome hike, definitely strenuous going up some of the steep areas. But it was worth it going up to Nevada Falls. Took the John Muir trail on the way down, much easier on the knees. Careful, There were some icy patches at the top of that trail. Took us 4 hours to hike, we covered about 8 miles.

Beautiful trail in the fall, the leaves are falling, crisp air and deer sighting. Relatively easy on both paths, small incline of stone steps but it can be done. Good hike for all ages.

This hike is amazing! Highly recommend! Dog friendly. Lake along the way for pups to swim and cool off.

You’ll definitely loose the trail a bit. Great swimming holes to explore near Ropi.

Magical, went all the way to the top, where the waterfall hits the ground, pure heaven ☺️

Bridalveil Falls trail, Yosemite. Water still falling in November when some of the other Yosemite Falls have dried up. Beautiful, ethereal, don’t miss it. I’ll be coming back in late spring.

Incredible hike! I would do this again although I wouldn't try to be daring due to the recent death that was on the news about the Indian couple Vishnu Viswanath and Meenakshi Moorthy in October 2018. Thinking back, I even walked down inside a fissure that seemed to have solid grounding underneath between the rocks but I would not attempt that again. This place is so remarkable, you can spend hours taking photos.

Always a good trail, family friendly, fantastic perspective of Half Dome.

Easy. Done it several times. Beautiful.

Great. Two hikes in one. A Yosemite must. Not hard.

Nice. Hetch betchy hike.

It wonderful trail. Took us about 45 mins walk wonderful view the lake

Great hike with beautiful scenery

Beautiful hike and views. Did an amazing sunrise hike and the whole way up to the peak we got beautiful views of the sun coming over the mountains with the lake in front. Little steep at times but definitely a consistent incline. Top has a well worth it view.

Awesome! Still had water at both Vernal and Nevada Falls. We took the entire route listed but didn’t take the “shortcuts” on the recorded map (short stairs to curb the corners on the switchbacks) and our route total walking from the Half Dome Campgrounds was over 10 miles! The stairs at Vernal Falls were tough but the stairs to the top of Nevada were tougher. Single ledge “more natural stairs” were definitely more unnerving than the Vernal Falls portion. Total flights of stairs recorded were 180! What a great way to spend a Sunday morning!

Great hike. I recommend starting around 8 to beat most of the crowds. We went on Nov 11 and it was COLD in the morning so bring layers. This hike is not challenging if you are in shape but there are a lot of stairs around the two falls which can make it difficult.

Good. Some parts were super easy, a few right before Nevada falls were steep and technical for the average person.

Nice easy hike with some great views. Parking can be tricky so get here early when you can. Definitely steep at some points, wear good shoes. Lovely views of the lake.

Did the upper falls and Yosemite point hike In one go. I found the hike to the falls to be moderate at best, totally doable but don’t underestimate. Bring enough water and start no later than 9am.

Great trail, hard work. Wife was absolutely spent after we got down - stairs prior to both falls, but especially Nevada were a killer. Great view all the way. Saw deer, Mumma Bear and 2 baby bears!

A very tough climb up to the top but well worth it. Bring a lunch or some snacks and hang out on the peak with the nice view!

Quick and effective! Great photo op.

Beautiful morning walk with two bear sightings, both with one cub. Easy trail and only one bottle of water required. We walked from the Upper Pines Campground. Mostly shaded but some sun to warm us as we came back the loop trail.
Highly recommend.

Yosemite's oldest trail (and it shows). The granite can be slippery at times, and even if it was bone dry, we witnessed many stumbles.
At this time of the year, there wasn't any water, so... instead of Yosemite Falls, it was more like Yosemite Walls. Nevertheless, it is a breathtaking (figuratively and literally) hike. It's worth going the extra mile and hiking from Yosemite Overlook to Yosemite Point. The round trip departing from the Yosemite Lodge bus stop and back was 8.2 miles with a 3,386 elevation gain. Worth every step.

This hike was CAKE with an amazing view over the valley. Two water falls. Hit it early and make sure to go up vernal then Nevada and John Muir Trail on the return.
