Great hike! There is a great waterfall two miles prior to the end of the trail indicated on this map. Beautiful trail, bring bug spray for the first section. If you don't mind nats, then you will be ok. Hint to find the waterfall marked on this hike, after you go over the second small bridge, pay attention, to find a split in the trail to the left, that will take you to the small fall that is the end of this trail. You could continue on the main trail all the way to Sugar Pine. Also, if you want to see the big fall and don't want to do a 6 mile hike, drive up 41 to the trail head that is a paved pull out, well marked on the left hand side. We drove up and checked it out after we did the hike, because we saw it on on our way out.

Beautiful trail in the fall, the leaves are falling, crisp air and deer sighting. Relatively easy on both paths, small incline of stone steps but it can be done. Good hike for all ages.

Magical, went all the way to the top, where the waterfall hits the ground, pure heaven ☺️

Bridalveil Falls trail, Yosemite. Water still falling in November when some of the other Yosemite Falls have dried up. Beautiful, ethereal, don’t miss it. I’ll be coming back in late spring.

My family and I do this trail once a year. We really enjoy it. Incline and decline are pretty serious though, for kids. Love the creek and waterfall for splashing around.

Always a good trail, family friendly, fantastic perspective of Half Dome.

Loved it. Lots of gnats. Extra protein or breathe out of your nose!

Pretty hike, lots of other people on the trail (holiday weekend) but didn’t feel crowded. Would be excited to come back in the spring to see the waterfalls at their peak!

Very tranquil hike. Not too challenging but about 1000 feet of elevation gain from the trailhead to Red Rock Falls. About two creek crossings, not bad at all. My 22lb dog kept up the whole way and enjoyed! Would do again.

Quick and effective! Great photo op.

Beautiful morning walk with two bear sightings, both with one cub. Easy trail and only one bottle of water required. We walked from the Upper Pines Campground. Mostly shaded but some sun to warm us as we came back the loop trail.
Highly recommend.

Beautiful view of the fall off the top of the mountain. We did hike down to the actual fall. Slippery rocks so it is more dangerous. Use caution.

One of favorites! Family fun all seasons. We have hiked this trail a few times! Beautiful and majestic views! So peaceful. Some strenuous spots but so worth it!! Check it out!

I always start my trips to Yosemite with this hike, and it’s the perfect warmup to more strenuous ones in the park. When you first arrive at the trailhead, it splits - I recommend taking the dirt path instead of following the road, which is more for the bikers and strollers. This trail is relatively easy and flat. The views once you reach the lake area are gorgeous (and even more stunning in the winter). Most of the crowds stop there, but I like doing the full loop. There are restrooms available too. There’s also plenty of wildlife that still passes through here despite the crowds (including bears and bobcats).

nice easy hike

enjoyable trail

A nice walk that is somewhat on an incline. There was no water in the lake so it was strange to stand in the middle of where the lake should have been but it was still very scenic

You get real close to the falls. Too bad not much water was falling but it was still worth it

WEAR bugs spray; There’s plenty of bugs & mosquitoes. Trail/creek was beautiful. Expects INCLINE and minors obstacle on trail (fallen trees). Creek was full of flowing water.

Beautiful hike in the valley. We were there mid October, so the leaves were changing. The only problem was that there wasn't really any water due to mix of drought and time of year. It's great being in the valley tho. Mirror Lake was dried up, so we got to stand right in the middle of the valley and have a good view of the cliffs around and spend some time in the literal shadow of the Half Dome.

Easy and well paved path with a view of the waterfall at the end. Rocky area under the waterfall to boulder on.

Nice walk, but bring bug spray.

Not a bad walk, though I was a little confused as to which path I was supposed to take since there aren't any signs telling you which of the 3 or 4 intertwining trails you're on. Really great first intro to the park, and not long. Perfect for kids. There's a spot with a bridge where you can sit on some logs and it's great for couples and kids. There's also a few meadows and not strenuous at all. Come in the spring for the best effect since there's one or two waterfalls that would look fantastic with all the snowmelt.

Nice

Driven by countless times on my way to bigger hikes. So, today i stopped. Probably not the best place to go to see the Sequoias, but it has some interesting history about the road. Highlight is the hollowed out fallen tree you can climb through.

Totally blown away by the views from the meadow to the top of the pass. This was fairly difficult for my second backpacking trip but it was well worth it.

you will experience different environment every 2 miles on the way to ten lakes. enjoy!

Great trail! All up hill at first so heading back is easy. There were literally thousands of lady bugs more towards the middle to end parts of the trail. There are plenty of waterfalls to see and it is almost completely shaded. Heading back we ran the trail.

Great day hike. I guess you can walk down or walk up. We walked up. It will challenge you but the beauty and peacefulness it nice. Go hike a mountain.

Fun little trail up to a waterfall. A few other groups on the trail so no worries about the mountain lion. The Lewis Creek trail car park is actually in the middle of the trail on this map. Worth a try if you’re in the area.
