Bizarre is the only word for this place...not like the rest of Yellowstone at all. Definitely recommend.

Freaking awesome...crowded but not too bad...being a little bit off the road helps.

Classic...not a necessarily a hike but it’s super amazing still.

The lake behind the geysers made it that much more interesting...one of my favorite geyser basins.

Best place to see the paint pots in Yellowstone!

Beautiful but very crowded

This short jaunt was like walking out onto an alien planet. The trees give way to a landscape you won’t see anywhere else on Earth.

Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me with what she is capable of. Fascinating stop this was!

I took an additional trail above the grand prismatic...not a soul on the trail but us. Gorgeous overlook of the pools without all of the traffic on the east path to the pools.

Real cool spot to check out some hot springs

Do the full trail!!!! We saw so many people turn around at the falls but we kept going to the top of the mountain and it was SOOO worth it. Probably my favorite hike we did in Yellowstone! The view of all the geysers steaming in September was like something I’ll probably never see again. Amazinggggg!!!!

Interesting trail. Got to see old faithful blow twice! So many interesting hot springs and geysers here.

Breathtaking. Never seen anything so naturally beautiful but DOES NOT HAVE A BATHROOM! Haha only complaint I have. Haha

Interesting but other spots in Yellowstone are nicer.

Very cool to walk around here.

This was an easy hike to begin a three day back country adventure for us. By accident, we timed it perfectly to arrive right before the geyser erupted, and it was beautiful. We didn’t bother with old faithful and from everything we heard, this was better anyway. I was certainly wowed by this experience! Our back country hike ended through this trail as well, so it was a great “almost home” marker for me, too

This was a very easy and relatively short hike. My mother and I hiked to the lookout and turned around to avoid having to walk back on the road. We saw some wildlife, but I would recommend hiking in the morning to see more. There were several other groups who were hiking this trail at the same time we were which were loud and definitely were scaring away animals.

Car pullout with small walking path overlooking the falls. Not really a trail, but a beautiful view!

Great hike just always crowded.

Hiked this trail to the overlook. Wow! it's a gorgeous view. I'd call it a moderate hike. We are seniors in our 60's, and felt like it gave us a little challenge. We packed our lunch and sat at the overlook eating on a beautiful fall afternoon. The only disappointment we had was the lack of wildlife. Even from the overlook, we could see no wildlife. But, that's the way it's been the entire trip. Where are all the animals? Wolves taking care of them?

This is an awesome little trail to get a sample of a lot of the wonders of Yellowstone. There are some sections with stairs, which, during our October visit, were caked in ice and really tricky to manage for children. Worth it though!

A short boardwalk, not really a hike, but fantastic anyway! A must-see.

Great views and a fairly short, very pretty hike. Kid-friendly. We were cautioned to watch for bears, as some frequent the area.

Beautiful falls. Got to see a bald eagle come up the river and fly over the falls.

Beautiful lake

Trail closed :(

Such a pretty magical place. Absolute must if you go to Yellowstone.

Amazing, as is all of Yellowstone.
