Nature tripsGreat!RockyScramble

Medium/hard - I stupidly wore my trainers/sneakers and found lots of the trail quite slippery, so you must wear proper hiking boots for this. Although, the rocky trail around the top of the mountain helps with footing. The view at the top was lovely with a clear Fuji view, but very busy with other hikers and not much space to sit. I was warned by two Japanese women I passed that the trail down was difficult, dangerous, scary and very steep - especially to do alone (I was alone). They actually recommended I turn back and go down the way I came up, which scared me. However, it was nowhere near as bad as they claimed - I know that Japanese tend to over-panic/over-prepare etc anyway. It was very rocky with some boulders to navigate around, but there were ropes available to help. Recommend with proper footwear! :')

HikingGreat!

Great trail, lovely views. Quite steep in places (ladders / ropes). My. Fuji is visible almost the whole route (in good weather!)

I would say this is more hard than moderate. The tral starts on a road up the hill then turns into a narrow dirt and at times rocky path. The path is steep most of the way up so was a great workout.

I only tried Odake. There isn't much information about this trail on the internet, but it was really fun. If you are staying at lake Saiko, this is a good trail to attempt. It can be tiring climbing to the top, but it's worth it as you will get a really good view of Mount Fuji.

Good morning,Fuji In my opinion, I believe It’s the best to see Mount Fuji in early spring. Because there are a lot of snow on the top and clear sky. I went up the Mount Mitsutoge 三つ峠山 It’s one of the best view places to see the Mount Fuji. It takes about 6 hours to walk and back. Please try it.

trail is a bit muddy and steep in places, but a pretty walk through the forest along a river, and you're treated with a great view of Fuji from near the top of it's clear enough.

Lovely views throughout the climb. Canopy provides nice shade for the warmer days. Some points can get pretty steep. Perfect balance between challenging and rewarding. Keep an eye out for boars and snakes!

We left our car at the train station and hiked from point to point. I didn’t start recording until one or 2 miles of walking to the city. The trail was beautiful in this late March and in great condition. There is a steep Rocky is sent that was free of snow. It took somewhere around three hours to get to the peak. Downhill was much faster after walking the Ridgeline. The Ridgeline was very enjoyable as well as seeing the views of Fugi on the ascent and the ridge. Snow was a delight at the peak! The hat was closed, but there were two vending machines. We grabbed cokes from one, decided to wait on the beer machine – Ha! We had a six and eight-year-old with us. We started at 11 AM and finished at 5:45. We stopped for a sugar break at the peak. So enjoyable! Enjoy!

Giving a five star review. But it’s a little tougher than moderate.

Superb views! Easy to get to and very very beautiful! Some parts of the trails are rather narrow and the bridge youd have to cross is a bit run down but other than that super beautiful! Don't forget to study the map so you dont take a wrong turn or else youll end up somewhere completely else! Lots of views of mount fuji along the trail and the surrounding mountains!
