I loved this trail! There are some steep hills, and it can be tough when everything’s wet, but I loved the challenge!

Fun with the kids!!!

I like this trail...

Loved this trail! Good variation of terrain! Only drawback was hearing car traffic on nearby expressway in one section. Beautiful scenery. Very woodsy!

nice connecting trail to the eternal flame. Good loop.

Clearly marked trails and a little bonus loop if you cross the “bridge too far” .Trails were a little muddy in some spots and some spots down by the creek have lots of tree roots so you have to watch where you step. I hiked with my 2 year old on my back in a carrier and it was a nice little workout. All and all this trail has it all.

this is an average hike with average scenery. trail not marked well but it's basically a square.

Liked the elevation change, but it was just a walk through the woods.

Awesome hike! Easy to find. I would say that it is more difficult than moderate. Pretty steep incline a good amount of the way, but something that is quite enjoyable!

This trail system is beautiful and well marked! I didn't follow the map it gives you on here but there are a lot more options than just this one trail loop. It was easy for me and my dog, and we both loved wading in the creek. The small rapids were so nice to sit by and relax! Definitely comimg back here!

Moderately populated. Trail markers are spotty at best - easy to get lost if you're not careful about your bearings, but a great place to get lost in. When in doubt, follow the creek.

First time there and we loved it. Felt like you were all alone in the woods! You can go off the “normal” path and explore.

Rather rocky but an excellent running trail nonetheless.

Great hike! Pretty steep uphill for an average hiker, but not incredibly difficult. Great scenery as well.

This is one of my favorite places to hike and relax, especially if you go on a weekday. I’ve never run into more than just a few people. You park on a main road, but after about a half mile in it is totally quiet and peaceful. It can get pretty muddy in the spring and there are also a lot of bugs. Early to mid summer is best, when everything is lush and you can just relax and smell the fresh air.

Note to travelers who are coming to this trailhead from the north. I highly recommend taking 219 into Bradford Pa. and turn right onto Interstate Parkway. It does appear to take longer to get to the trailhead from the AllTrails app instructions provided us to take (seasonal road) Limestone Rd to Ridge Run to Allegheny State Park Rte 2 to Allegheny State Park Rte 3. However, these roads are extremely rough for regular vehicles (car) and even with going at a snails pace, bottomed out once or twice. Risking car damage and very slow speed it not worth gaining a few minutes. The trail was an easy hike and well marked.

The trail was quite wet in spots today but very passable. Wear hiking boots and it will be fine. Saw a few wild flowers and heard some birds...pleasant trail.

Steep climb up in the beginning and the fire tower was a cool place to take a break. Being a teenager, I climbed up the firetower when it was wet. Don't do it, theres nothing up there other than graffiti. There is no shortcut in the trail like I thought so I did the whole trail and it was beautiful. Be sure to have a ride waiting for you because it was a long trudge back to the campground for me.

great for running,biking,and hiking!

Really nice to find such an amazing spot this close to the city.

we saw a Woodcock it was good and it was a little slippery I saw about thirty deer in all I wish we saw a black bear.

An absolutely beautiful day hike. Just be cautious because the trails need maintenance, there are a lot of fallen trees on the trails, which could prove an issue especially for kids. The white trail is pretty easy to navigate, but the section of the yellow trail after the ravine and deer lick falls gets sketchy because there is no actual trail because of debris. Hard to locate next marker due to circumventing fallen trees. My advice is bring a map and just stay alert for markers.

This is a great park. Great for fishing, camping, hiking, biking, pretty much anything outdoors. Most trails are marked or clear to see.

Rode this in the summer. The last mile or two are smooth riding but it can get very technical from the beginning to avoid crashes due to the weathered trails.

45 degrees out made for a beautiful February hike. A little slippery. Trail mark well for one half. The other half, it is necessary to pay attention.
