Went there a week ago. Temperature at 10 C…No mosquitoes. Lots of falling leaves and very colorful. Nice place to spend time.

Great for a leisurely walk with nice scenery. Amazing venue considering the devastation caused by Hurricane Hazel October 15-18, 1954 along the river route.

I'm lucky that this is my everyday commute. Great for walking, biking and birdwatching.

Welcome To The Humber River Recreational Trail Out In Toronto, Ontario Canada!

This is another part of the Humber River Recreational Trail that we visited along the Humber River and What A Beautiful View it was with tons of Ducks Swimming In The River.

On This Bright Sunny Day: We also saw plenty of bike riders and trees with the leaves changing colors as well!

I want to personally Thank Allan for taking ME there back on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

Sincerely yours,

Love this trail system. Not maintained commercially but it’s still a great mix of double blacks to easy/intermediate trails.

It was our 1st time here. Went as a family, two kids (14 and 11 yrs old) hiked for an hour. It was a nice walk with great scenery.

its always a nice walk to go on on a nice sunny day

Thoroughly enjoyed getting right into nature on this hike. The path is narrow and for the most art, not maintained. In some areas the path was clear and there were boardwalks for short distances. The scenery was awesome! Fields of flowers, tall trees, babbling river — worth coming here for a nature trip! Wear comfortable shoes as the terrain varies quite a bit. And yes, there are a lot of red ants so comfortable shoes AND socks is a good idea. I’ll definitely be back to explore more!

Great MTB workout with trails for all skill levels.

it could be a nicer place. IF dog owners would pick up after there dogs more often
also the portable washrooms are in horrible condition. they are not attended too as often as they should be.
also I really wish "DOG WALKERS" would not bring 5 PLUS BIG DOGS in the SMALL DOG off leash area as small dogs have gotten hurt

so beautiful

Went yesterday for a walk with my pup and the trails were covered in red aunts, I’ve never seen so many.

Trail head in Locust Hill is infested with Red Ants. We had to get our dog into the river to get them off, ran back to the car after and still had to pick about 15 off of her. We must of disturbed them on the way in because they were everywhere on the way out.
The trail seemed really overgrown this time. We havent been in a couple years.

I made my own South Side Loop and it was great! A lot of variety from smooth paths to rock scrambling! There's even a river crossing! Rough, Rocky, Slopey, Bushy. Wear long pants! There might be a beaver in the area. Pack atleast 1.5L water, Sandwich, 2-3 Cereal bars.

good trail as fun for biking

Combination of dirt and paved paths, lovely scenery. A fantastic way to spend a few hours in nature without having to drive outside of the city! Easily accessible via transit which is another plus.

Good for group hiking. Easy to get lost

Nice paved trail. A little busy with bikers but they all seem to have bells so all was good. It was a hot summer day and there is not much shade. As I had my dogs we took a few trips down to the river to cool off. But I wasn’t able to go as far as I wanted. Will come back in the cooler weather for sure.

Nice trail for MTB

Was there recently and the trail was seriously overgrown and there is Giant Hogweed around the northern part of the trail. Construction under the 407 also makes it difficult to access. We did however see a beaver.

It was our first trail in Toronto and we were pretty impressed. it's a long trail and lots of greenery and open spaces. perfect for cyclists and running. we enjoyed a long walk and had a picnic as well. the humber river runs by the trail and makes for some good pictures.

We loved it. A nice family walk took us 3 hrs. we did all the paths. And took a lot of great pic.

We got a bit hot but there were a couple spot with a nice cool breeze. And nice people. Very clean.

Just beautiful
