One of my FAVORITE trails this far! Numerous rock formations, waterfalls, and caves! What else could you ask for?!

Nice hike. Cave is really open and has amazing features. Trail is easy to follow with water running through from time to time. We’ll bring my grandkids at Christmas time -although it’s moderate they’ll have no problem.

One of my favorites the views area wonderful.

Good walk but its really only .4 miles long very short.

Great hike! Relatively short but packed with stuff to see. Really beautiful in the fall. Trail is well marked and well maintained throughout. Some slippery rock in a couple spots but no big deal. I'd recommend bringing a flashlight for the rock house, some cool areas you can explore in the back corners if you've got one.

Disappointed that almost everyone I saw out there had one or more dogs, there are other trails at Buffalo Point that you can bring your dogs on, no reason for this.

Make sure to see these falls at a peak water level! It is incredible fun to swim and layout on the cleared rocks.

As a novice hiker, this was an awesome experience for me. Starting with the ranger who warned me to bring plenty of water because of the uphill return, to the lovely solitude of the light rain after leaving the quarry, the trail was an amazing experience for me. I’ll definitely be back.

As a novice who is also an old guy, I did have a few reservations on the way out as to whether I was still on trail because the blazes were a little sparse. But the trail itself was visible throughout, and the blazes were more numerous on the return. The fall color is just beginning, and I am wishing I could get back here in a couple weeks.

Too short to really get into a stride, but the view from the top is nice. You're on a wooden bridge and trail for part of it. Cool rocks to climb on. You can connect to Fire Tower Trail from this trail, which I did later in the day to shorten the Fire Tower Trail (running out of daylight).

Great easy trail with good views. A lot foot traffic though.

It was a nice hike with my kiddos. Definitely going to go back again!

Not much water flow this time but a fun hike with the pup.

My family and I went on the trails here today and it was beautiful. if you have kids with you go to the nature center and ask for a back pack, it comes with binoculars, a leaf activity and other fun stuff for kids to check out on the hike.

Easy hike and even though the water was flowing much it was still well worth the trip. The AllTrails coordinates took us right to the trailhead. The trail is rocky which I didn’t think was bad but it’s not a flat dirt path.

Great trail. Rockshelter is amazing.

As a family, we hiked this trail during our visit to the monument. It was a nice trail, well maintained and very easy to complete. We did wonder how beautiful it would be in October instead of early September. The color changes of the fall season would be beautiful to see here.

The hiking is easy and the floating is good these days.
The pool is the best pool I have ever been in.

Very well maintained trail with a nice walk along the side the river to a nice waterfall with a great swimming hole under it. The river was very low but still flowing enough to get wet in the swimming hole.

This trail takes you up over the hatchery. There is an overlook above the spring but really you can’t see much of the spring. Overall I wasn’t too impressed by this trail. It was a good climb however.

I’ve done this hike twice now and even in low water it’s still beautiful. Easy short hike!

Elise falls is great when flowing. The Lower and Upper (not shown) trail loops are very overgrown and hard to follow in some places. I suggest going when water is flowing and skipping those loops.

The water was mostly dried up when I went, so the hike was more exercise than site seeing.

Really, really awful experience. There’s no water, the trail is poorly marked and VERY overgrown. The creek is bone dry. And the worst part? Ticks. I went with my friend and our three dogs and we’ve battled probably 1000+ of those tiny seed ticks. Had to gut my apartment with tick killer. This is despite the ample amount of bug spray and flea & tick preventative on the dogs. Spent close to $100 dollars trying to get rid of all the ticks. Would not recommend, especially this time of year.

Nice easy hike but nothing spectacular. I was the only one on the trail which was nice. Did this trail primarily because I made the trip to see the waterfall so why not hit this trail as well. The path was clear and easy to follow.

love the different flora and fauna

Trail was ok, but nothing too interesting. that being said, it was a lot better than just staying home and watching TV.

Fun little hike for the family, the kids spent hours climbing the rocks and we got some good pictures

Using the directions from this app we found the trail with no issues, although it is in the middle of nowhere haha we were thinking we had gone the wrong way before we finally ran into a local on the narrow dirt road and he told us we were right around the corner.
The trail was easy for the most part and the end result is def worth all of the time it took to find and hike the trail. Beautiful rock, waterfall, and water! Would love to go back during rainy season as the water flow wasn’t as much as I expected. Our 6 year old twins absolutely loved it!

Gorgeous Rock House at the end of the loop. Amazing views on this moderate hike!
