Great hot springs with an incredible view. I hiked the trail with a pretty bad cold and was rewarded with perfect water temperatures and a beautiful sunset. There’s also some nice campsites just below the springs, so backpacking in is a good idea.

Off the beaten path, but way better than any waterfall you’ll see on an easy access trail in the park.

There's nothing too special about this hike but it's pretty simple and short. It's a good hike for when you don't have much time that day to go hiking but still want to.

I don't usually review trails, but this one is pretty great! We went a little later, so it wasn't as busy. But we got to a point in the trail where a moose and her baby were on the trail. We had to wander off the trail but it was an awesome experience. The scenery is also beautiful. It's 4 miles but it's very casual.

Loved this hot spring!! I thought I was gonna die on the trail, especially towards the end, lol but I made it and it was totally worth it. My boyfriend and I did this in August- watched the sunset and hiked back with our flashlights. The stars were amazing.

Nice hike- we did it clockwise and enjoyed great views the whole time.

After doing shorter hikes in Yellowstone we decided to push ourselves to do something longer than 2 miles. So glad we did. Beautiful views of the lake and the mountains.

Hands down the best hot spring on public lands we have been. Made a short video of the hike if anyone is interested. https://practicalvagabonds.com/goldbug-hot-springs/

Really enjoyed this short relatively flat hike after the previous days 18miler RT to Static Divide. great views and nice folk on the trail. cant fo wrong with this one at all

Really pretty. Did the trail with wife and three kids. First part, to Taggart Lake, was lead by a park ranger, which was awesome. Great variety of scenery along the trail, with fantastic views of Grand Teton throughout.

Super fun trail. It’s longer than 3.5 miles though. GPS said 2.6 to the top. All the same it’s worth every step. Hot springs at the top are excellent. We went on a Tuesday morning and there was only one other couple up top. Definitely worth the time.

Nice easy hike, a little crowded

Amazing scenery, when you get to the top, easy to follow and it is perfect this time of year..

This was a fun Saturday day activity for our camp trip. Our extended family hiked this in about 3 hours . We had kids ranging from 5 yrs - 14 Years, plus a 4 month old and 2 year old in back packs. On the Flag Ranch road, look for the sign that says “cascade creek” for the trail head. The entire trail is gorgeous. The end of the trail is not a very good view. The best view is from a rock cliff a little bit back from the end of the trail.

Easy to moderate.

Very nice little hiking/walking path. There were moose on the trail, so watch out!!!

Leaves are dropping, first day of fall feels like the first day of fall

An absolutely beautiful hike entered around String Lake. Very minor elevation gain after the lake as you head into the mountainside. Go counterclockwise on this trail. Takes a few hours but the views are stunning. Great "in between" hike.

Easy, afternoon ramble through conifer forests to a glacial lake of aqua and blue. Do the trail going counter-clockwise - the elevation gain is much more gradual and you get rewarded instantly with a beautiful cascading creek flanked by golden birch trees. It is very windy on this trail, so bring a jacket - cool in the forest, blazing in the open fields. After leaving the lake, the hike takes you up to the summit of a butte/hill covered in pine trees. Get a glimpse of Taggart Lake from here - it's amazing. Continue on another 0.25 mile and you'll be rewarded with an expansive view of the park looking south. Once downhill, the trail becomes a means to an end (parking lot) - not a lot to see other than a flat plain and some dense pines. Def worth a few hours and great opportunity to take some great pictures. Enjoy!

Awesome. Would definitely do again. The only downside is that it’s pretty busy. Go as early as you can or during the week when most people can’t go. It’s beautiful though and the hot springs are great! You have to go!

Definitely moderate trail. But I would totally recommend hitting the moose pond as a bonus. We saw 3 moose on our journey and it was a spectacular falls at the end! Worth the steep grade up and very quick hike out going down hill.

If you like trails that allow you to be shaded from conifers, well trafficked, but sometimes rocky trails, refreshing streams and falls for a good .5 mile of a ~4 mile hike and vistas that include lakes and mountains, then this hike is for you. We hiked this after driving in from South Dakota and it was a perfect way to stretch our legs. The Fall colors are an added bonus. No wildlife, although the idea of bears kept me on alert!

Definitely add the Bradly Lake loop to get the beat views of Taggert Lake! So gorgeous!! Great views of the tetons and the water. We were pressed for time so cut our loop short and still had an amazing hike! Would definitely do again!!

I just completed this trail, with my 5 year old. we had a blast. I would definitely recommend it..

Beautiful hot springs! The last stretch up to the springs is a bit tough, but worth it.

Awesome views! On a clear day you can see the Tetons! Loved this hike. At the summit you feel like you're walking around a fish bowl.

loved it!
