VERY STRENUOUS!! VERY WORTHWHILE!! Please make sure to bring a backpack with hydration & snacks. Heavily inclined.

Lots of wildlife seen a lot of deer. Really liked the top

Not gonna lie, this trail is tough. Deserves the hard rating. The description says the trail is 6.6 miles, but my tracker says it was 8.8 miles. It’s not a loop trail, you go up the same way you come down. The initial descent is easy, but it was completely uphill on the way back. I felt like it would never end and we would never get there. Make sure you bring more than enough water. I brought a filled 17 oz bottle and four regular sized water bottles, and that wasn’t enough. I would bring 6-8 bottles. The elevation gain is intense on the way back up. You should probably be in fairly good shape to hike this trail. I would go in the fall because it was really hot during the summer. Also, wear bug spray. Bugs are flying around you just about every second you’re hiking. And while going down the trail you walk into spiderwebs pretty much the whole time. Some of it is overgrown, so I’d be sure to check yourself and others for ticks when you get done. The views were decent, but not the best. It was just an okay hike, not really worth it in my opinion.

Was a nice hike to the falls, recommend going in to the right at entrance so you end at the falls. Took climbers access 2 and ended with 2.5 miles total

Great trail! Section along the river is far better than the rim overlooking it. If you like waterfalls, rivers, cool rock formations, you will love this one. If not, why are you hiking?

great trail. return trip kicks your ass. take your time it's all up hill

Great trail. Tough at some parts, but that’s the point! Lots of fun and plenty of resting parts/shelters.

I wouldn't consider the trail hard. There is hardly any elevation gain and the creek crossings weren't terrible. I went late July and some of the creeks were dry or hardly had any water. Definitely wear water shoes, otherwise your shoes will be wet the entire time. I had a hard time locating the viewing area of the window cliffs. It says overlook, but usually when it says that you assume it's below you, but instead you need to look up and you will see them. Definitely missed that and had to ask another hiker. So be sure to look up!

Fun little hike and easy to do with smaller children. Hike to the base of the waterfall is short and the swimming hole is a lot of fun. We did the loop on the way out and was moderate in a couple of spots and was maybe 1.5 miles or so. We had 4 kids (13, 13, 10 & 10), and they did just fine. Fun little rock formations to play on.

Beautiful trail, make sure to bring enough water (at least 3 liters). Steep elevation gain on the way back.

Beautiful falls and fairly easy and maintained trails.

Great scenery. Lots of rocks, some loose. They aren’t kidding when they say wear water hiking shoes. You have to go through water to get to the falls. The falls are beautiful! And worth the hike. But be careful. Expect to get wet. The swimming hole is perfect. Water temp very refreshing. Went on. Friday afternoon. Very very crowded but didn’t really slow us down.

I walk this trail often and love it. On average my hiking app shows it to be 1.7 miles. There is enough elevation that it gives me a decent workout. If you want more distance, hike it twice. It is a rocky trail so I do caution anyone to keep your eyes downward to prevent a fall. The trail has a solid canopy too, so no sunscreen is required.

This is a marvelous hike. Wear proper shoes and clothes for getting wet. Depending on the levels, the creek can be high or low. If current is mild, great swimming holes. Pack a lunch and enjoy the view. Before it was a park, it was not as diverse as now. Great low lands to enjoy. State has done a great job putting in split rails to keep you from sliding down the hills (thanks)! If in the area, please enjoy but know this is a hike, not a walk in the woods. The hard rating is earned

My husband and I took our kids (10 & 6) on this loop. We loved it! The only problem was that we missed the memo that we were supposed to turn on climber’s access #1 to make the turn back, and instead added an extra mile to our loop by turning onto climber’s access #2. Be ready for rocky, climby fun with some gorgeous sights!

Some very pretty views. $10 to get into the park for 3 of us. The trails are easy to hike, but they are smoothed with sand. So make sure you have shoes that have good grip. The same shoes we have been loving hiking in were slipping and sliding all over the place in the the sand. Made for some sore ankles after.
Pretty. Easy. But not sure it is worth a return visit.

awesome trails, awesome scenery, and an overall awesome hike. Some parts are more challenging but what waits at the end of all of these trails is well worth it. Will be going back.

This trail is somewhat extensive beyond this starting point. My husband and I go in the opposite end via Spragins Hollow Rd. There’s a great little parking lot and sign there with a map of the trails. We went most recently in July. Lots of foliage and wild life, we spotted a deer up near the loop of Devil’s Racetrack. It was very muddy this time of year, but no biggie if you’re surefooted. I’m really looking forward to taking my kids, as the trail isn’t too difficult that they couldn’t handle it.

Nice, lush, fairly flat 5k loop. The deer in the area are not afraid of humans! I was able to get so close to one, I was certain it was a large lawn ornament!

This was a fun hike, lots of centipedes all over the place though

This is a great trail. I liked it better before it became a park due to all the people that are now on it. But it's a great place with beautiful views. Just remember if you go to the bottom, you will be walking through a creek most of the way, so wear appropriate shoes.

None maintained trail very thick. Hard to navigate. Would be a better hike in winter.

It’s really nice hike overall. I took my 7 year old and she got through all the creek crossings just fine and we hiked all the way to the cliff. Just wear shoes made for hiking and getting wet and you’re good. The only bad part is the hike back to the parking lot because it is steep!

Beautiful views and a good place to get away from things. Very short hike. One of my favorite waterfalls

Is there water at the water fall this time of year? July?

Do you know which month the cotton field is available as in the pic ?
