Decent hike once you get past the factories.

Easy, beautiful hike. Did it twice this year.

Mostly flat trail. Easy-moderate. ~2.5 hr hike.

this is a difficult hike for beginners, but beautiful view on top

Completed hike on 2018-12-02. Crampons/Ice Cleats highly recommended. Not really enough snow on this date for snow shoes. Great hike, great views especially the summit with it's 360 degree panorama.

Completed this hike a couple weeks ago, crampons not needed. It’s pretty fantastic at the top with the pearlier feels but most certainly a steep incline that can make you question for a second what you got yourself into. I was sore for a week after this hike! But the experience is worth it, a solid hike!

Lovely wide and easy trail with nice views. There were
about 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. We wore micro spikes but could have been done without them.

Loved this hike. It was well marked and the scenery is stunning the farther up you go. Will also recommend the Little Bee Hive as well. Path can be done with hikers but recommend crampons and poles pending which route you take down from Lake Agnes.

Great views, easy trail to follow. Ran into deeper snow at the final approach to the summit lookout. No problem with spikes. Good hike if you want a mix of terrain and a hike in the 4 to 5 hour range.

Good fall/early winter hike if you have micro spikes. Some deep snow up top (don’t forget the gaiters) near the lakes, but lakes are frozen and you can easily traverse across them. Will be back in the spring/summer.

Nice and relaxing hike, definitely recommend doing it counter clockwise. You can enjoy the views from the ridge more. Was a bit slippery in places, we wore yaktrax, as there was a bit of ice in spots. It was quite beautiful with the light snow falling. Loved how wide the trail was, made it nice for conversation.

We hiked to Arnica Lake today. The trail was hard packed snow covered the whole way. Great trail with a lot of great views along the way.

My roommate, cousin and I did this trail October 4 through October 7 this year and it was incredible. There had been a little bit of fresh snow on the ground and it got into the teens at night, but was totally manageable. The first day we hiked from trail head all the way to the berg lake campground . It was tough but extremely beautiful. We had great sunny weather and a slight breeze. Day two we hikes a large portion of Snowbird pass which goes around the back of Rearguard and Mt Robson to the Mount Robson glacier and that was another incredible hike. We also did Mumm Basin, which has a great view of berg lake. Day three we hiked down to Kinney Lake campground and stayed here and the Day four we hiked out to the trail head. I’d like to go back someday, because it really was that amazing.

I did this hike July 8, 2018. It’s not difficult, other then waking on small to big rocks the whole time, you just want to be careful so you don’t twist your ankle. It was a busy trail the day we went, but not crowded. Many people were rock climbing too. Once you pass the waterfall it gets quieter, most people turn around and head back there. We continued on and passed inukshuks people had made. The trail opens up into a big valley. We kept on hiking until we got tired, but we wanted to see if we could reach an end to the river valley, but there was none in sight.

Nice easy trail! Was great but you only need to do it once in my opinion

It’s a great hike. Steep climb all the way up. Always busy though. Nice to relax at the tea house. Lake Agnes is beautiful, with stunning views.

little to no wildlife....cows...cow patties ....not even a squirrel...lots of wild flowers kid friendly

amazing hike! Unbelievable how beautiful the hike is and I definitely recommend it. Make sure to pack a good lunch because you're going to need it. A lot of incline thigh but Adobe waterfalls on the way and just beautiful in the summer!

really great trail. set out by myself and didn't see anyone else the whole day. lots of sharp rocks and lots of ice. views from the top were worth the trip. yaktracs and trekking poles definitely recommend. even though mine broke on the way up. I imagine that it only gets harder from here on out and soon a 4x4 will be need to get to the trail head safely. Great day.

Nov 25, 2018. I hiked up to the rock chute today. The trail was snow covered with a few icy patches. I was able to make it to the chute without any spikes. I wore my Microspikes on the way down which was helpful. Overall the trail was in very good shape.

Awesome! Nice late fall (with snow) trail with some slippery sections.

Hiked this one in the snow before dawn to try and watch the sunrise. Most of the view was obstructed by the trees, but there was a spot along a switchback where you could see the sky changing to bright pink just beyond the mountains. If you are staying in Lake Louise, this was a decent option for seeing the sunrise by the lake. We only went up to Mirror Lake because of the avalanche warnings up to Lake Agnes. The snow was packed down and the hike was easy with ice cleats, but they were likely unnecessary.

Easy but beautiful hike

Great trail, hiked on 11/18. Packed snow most of the way, would recommend crampons. Used poles, but not necessary. Worth making the trek up to the tea house (closed) for a great view and serenity. Would recommend snowshoes if you were to continue on to little beehive lookout.

Went out today and got up to the alpine meadow but wasn’t able to complete either side of the loop due to the deep snow. There were tracks so I imagine if you had the gear and gators then it wouldn’t have been a problem. But I was alone without gators and only crampons so I decided to duck out. I look forward to going back in the spring/summer.

This is a beautiful hike any time of year. While the tea house is closed, it’s still worth the trek, which is a steady and moderately steal climb. The views are breathtaking.

Beautiful Hike! It is a relatively short hike however it is quite the incline the majority of the way and if you are used to living at sea level you might find breathing a little more difficult! All in all a great experience.

We love this hike. We took family friends out for the afternoon and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw some deer running through the lower end as we hit the top of the hike. Beautiful scenery.

Completed Oct 31 and a not recommend.
The trail is a long, grueling uphill ascent that stays within the trees the entire time. There are no lookouts or landmarks along the 2hour climb. It's incredibly monotonous. Taylor Lake itself is now completely frozen, and the meadow is heavily snowed in. The view of the mountains is often fogged in. At 2100+ meters, I experienced mild altitude sickness. On our descent, we noticed fresh Grizzly tracks on top of our ascending footprints. No sitings, but the big bears aren't necessarily asleep yet.
This is not the worst hike ever, but in Banff this time of year, there are dozens that offer better views, with less work in more frequently used parts of the park.
