Good level of challenging, some steep parts but such a well made path it was no problem. Ample parking (with video security), free (with donations recommended), great views and different path options. Overall great hike!

Great hike. Fairly easy, but White Rocks( north and south) has scenic views. I will agree some of the markings(blazes) were difficult to see. My wife and I did lose the trail at one point. However, given this property is part of a foundation, I am very thankful we have access to it. Worth the hike.

Great hike. First mile is straight up- but doable! The hike is 5.1 this includes the walk to the parking lot. Wear good shoes and the “caretaker” left a note to “look out for snakes”. (Sunday Aug 6) They too are happy to have the sun-shining. I am very happy not to have seen any.

I LOVED this trail! Not sure why this says 5.1 miles...it is only 4.4, unless I missed something? It was just the right amount of hard and easy for a short day hike. Pretty much the whole first mile is uphill. Not terribly steep but not easy! Then it flattens out and is a nice walk to the rocks. The trail is so wide which is nice because it's heavily trafficked on a weekend!

After almost 2 weeks of rain the trail was pretty muddy. For the most part you are able to walk around it or rock-hop but there were a few times I was in my groove and just sunk down in the mud. But like I said...two weeks of rain!! So who cares about a little mud! I can't imagine the mud will clear up quickly since people are already back on the trail after so much rain, so just be prepared. The rocks were beautiful and there are several spots you can walk around to for a view. Just be careful obviously.

The trail was definitely challenging at the start, which I love. It levels off a little more than halfway to the top. Nice out and back trail, not too long if you’re kind of in a rush like we were, but you get a good workout in right away. Fun trail, and the view at the top is so worth it!

After a climb, you skirt along the top of the mountain. Highly recommend.

The blue trail is beautiful and rugged. It is poorly marked in one spot. We took the wrong path and had to back track. We came across a Timber Rattlesnake on the trail.

Nice scenic hike. Fairly easy even for someone like me with arthritis and bad knees. Beautiful view at Hog Rock vista.

Yet another wonderful trail. I've been here twice now - once in winter and once in summer. I will definitely be going back in the fall. Awesome views!

This is a nice 5 mile hike. Most of it is in the woods and it ends along a lake. All Trails labeled it easy. The sign at the park says difficult. I’d go with moderate. It’s rocky and there are some up hill stretches. The trail is very clearly marked. You can begin and end at a picnic area with bathroom facilities. There’s a sign at the park entrance that says “pets prohibited.”

Good time to go in summer especially after the rains when the fall has good amount of running water. Had a great time climbing the rocks along the fall. I wouldn’t say it is an ‘easy’ hike but a moderate to hard one. You can also sit by the river which is near the parking lot and enjoy a picnic. Will definitely go again.

A great trail that's not too steep, and wide. Pup had a blast. Heavy foot traffic. No creeks for cool down, bring lots of water for your pup.

Beautiful water element with great forest canopy on almost the entire run.
Very nice!

This is one of my favorite hikes for a in and out, it is not hard, and the view is nice. Bring a lunch, and enjoy it on the rocks. Talk to the camp host, and just enjoy it.

The trail itself it’s not particularly difficult it’s got about two steep inclines. The only draw back is there is a section of the trail where there is a large collection of trash; i.e. beer bottles, rusted metal items. Aside from that, which could be a park maintenance problem, it’s a lovely hike!

The Blue Trail was an enjoyable but challenging walk in the woods. I found myself going up and down a lot. The trail markings were a bit confusing at first and it can be pretty easy to go off the trail if you're not careful. It wasn't too hot considering it was mid July when I did this. I had fun spotting all the different granite intrusions in the rocks. The summit at White Rocks was breathtaking.

Fairly easy hike. There is a section early on that most of the elevation gain occurs, but it is easy elevation. The view is amazing! Will definitely do this again.

Great ride, yet very hot!!!!!!

Park is beautiful but the lack of adequate blazes and trail markers sadly makes me rate this loop 2 stars.

My 1 year old Chocolate Labrador and I tested out this trail for the first time (mid July); the weather was perfect, the trail itself was an easy climb, and the view from Annapolis Rock was lovely. This trail was just enough exercise to tire a pup out by its end.

P.S. I was pleased to find a dog-drinking station at the rest area. We did bring our own water just in case. :)

the trails get poorly marked as you go further in. we completely missed a turn off for the blue trail and wasted a lot of time. it was disappointing not being able to do the full loop as originally planned. we might try another day

A great way to escape Maryland's liberal bullshit.

We really enjoyed this hike. With the easy rating, we expected it to be flat but were pleasantly surprised by the inclines.

Great trail for relaxing hike! More on the moderate to easy side. 2.5 miles up and 2.5 miles back totally at 5 miles. The hike starts on a freeway which seems funny but after about 5 minutes you’re in nature’s quiet! We got lucky and got the trail mostly to ourselves! A beautiful summit with rewarding views. Definitely suggest!

There are two trails here at two different farms. One Farm is Worthington Farm and has a nice trail of about 3-4 miles depending on where you park. If you park right off the road and walk down the gravely path you add about 1.4 miles to a less than three mile hike in the woods.

The second trail is the Thomas Farm trail. It has a separate parking area/entrance from Worthington Farm; just a little down the road and it’s a much shorter and easier trail of a little less than 3 miles.

These two trails are part of the Monocacy National Battlefield.

Beautiful views. Serene trails. Historic farms.

Our family loves this trail. We take our five kids ages 15 down to 1 year and they do pretty good. Well maintained trail with lots of shade. The view from Annapolis Rocks is worth the trek. There’s an outhouse near the Rocks, fyi.

We completed both the Washington Monument and Annapolis Rock trails. The total distance was 11 miles. The trail was a bit wet from heavy rains the day before. Bugs were a bit heavy also, but the views were awesome. Love this hike. That's the second time we have completed the Annapolis Rock portion and the first time to the monument. Both were worth the climb.

When I arrived I saw a HUGE sign that said pets prohibited! Discouraging!!!! Yes

I really like this hike. Nice variety of trails and mostly pretty flat - nothing too strenuous. It can be a bit muddy, especially at the beginning, but not enough to prevent me from doing it. No spectacular overlooks or anything, but some great views of farmland and streams.

Today I did the whole loop (over 10 miles) and saw more deer than people! Only saw two people the whole way and they were workers towards the beginning. I guess that's the advantage of doing it on a Friday :)
