Steep incline to start but otherwise a fairly easy trail.

Great trail, the down trees at the beginning of the trail have been cleared! It was actually about 8.2 miles up to the top and back. Got here at about 8am on a Wednesday morning and never saw another person. The view from the top is amazing!

Amazing hike, 7 creek crossings, loved both falls on this trail. Well worth the hike.

Great trail in the burbs!! Walking along the river and couple of elevation is great!

Need to plan next time to stay here and maybe stay in one of the yurts. Only got to do the loop and one of the falls - Cherokee. So need to go back and do the other trails and falls.

Very nice views. I love water falls and this trail is amazing!

Took my son and dog for an afternoon trip. Easy trail and safe. Beautiful views.

amazing get away right in the city.

Love this trail! Amazing views up top and stunning waterfalls below!

great all around family trail.
we hiked this trail on the last Sunday and it was simply great.
family of 5 and even the 3 old kid managed to do most of it.
we haven't complited all of the trail but completed around 3/4 of it.

Very beautiful trail, people say it’s well trafficked but when I went one day during the week, and barely saw people out there. I went later in the day, passed by the campsite and there were people down there but I only passed 2-3 people/groups on the trail, so the seclusion made it even better.

Just like people say, it’s pretty anticlimactic if you choose not to make the little extra climb at the end to get up to see the waterfall, but you still pass by some on the way,

Breathtaking views. Easy to follow trail. Will definitely hike again. Hikes 9/18.

Love it.

This our trial run to get our packs adjusted before starting on the Application trail. we have been going here for many years, and love it

This trail has two points of entry, one is at the top and you come down through the falls or you can come up the gulch from the valley floor via the Canyon Estates entry. We already went to the falls and didn't want to subject ourselves or our dog to the 600+ steps from the top down. The trek up the valley is a pleasant 2 mile walk with various changes in elevation. The trail is wide enough for two people to hike side by side. There are some paths off the the main trail that lead to pools. It can be slippery. but your dog can have a dip to cool off. If you plan to go to the falls, please bring some boots for your dog. The grate steps and grate bridge can hurt and possibly injure their feet.

At the beginning of the trail. There’s fallen trees blocking the path that needs to get cleared up. Also, getting to the very top, there’s a lot weeds that make it difficult to squeeze up there. You barely see the path. Other than that. It was awesome!

great hike in early spring when the flowers are blooming...great hike all around..bring a picnic lunch and have it on the flat rocks. you're welcome

Great trails for running and hiking.

Enjoyed this series of waterfalls and the deep gorge. Lots of stairs but worth the walk.

Nice hike! I added the waterfalls at the end of the loop. Those stairs are a workout! Definitely would return.

4th time out here this year. The canyon walls are gorge-ous.

Not a difficult walk down to the bottom of the canyon, from there on it’s pretty flat and a lot of fun to explore!

Challenging hike. Sometimes All Trails isn't accurate on the level of difficulty, but this was one of the more strenuous ones I've done in SC. At the same time, it's definitely the most beautiful. Lots of waterfalls and wildflowers along the way. The view at Bald Rock was gorgeous. I would suggest starting as early as possible...I started at 7:15am and saw no one on my way up and around 15 people on my way down.

Unique in that you are constantly aware that you are walking through the aftermath of what water does over time. Disappointing though because it’s been so dry as of late (today’s date 9/8/2018) that the waterfalls are nothing more than dribbles, leaving the pools of water to be a bit stagnant in areas.
Very much worth your time to hike, but don’t expect to see a flowing river in this park right now.
