12$ for a walk, not good!

I’ve passed by Maybury State Park more times then I could count but this is my first time actually going there.
The trail was good. Especially for me being 53 and out of shape. I wore a 20 lb rucksack while I was hiking and had my dog with me.
There are some decent rises and falls to the trail. Enough to make it challenging but not too challenging.
I recommend this trail highly.
Keep an eye on the trail because roots are prevalent and you need to watch out for them. Also there were some muddy spots but I didn’t mind.
Will be going back.

Great loop with multiple water fall spots. Bring plenty of water, it gets humid and has some uphill spots. Great to walk along creek most the way and cool to see old the water pipe still there, although with plenty of leaky spots. Went on a Saturday and wasn’t very busy, only saw a few other hikers and a few bikers. Great hike with dogs. Also lots of other trails to take that connect and good maps along the way to help.

Very nice and covered trail.
It's primarily a biking trail, so be ready for bikers while you are hiking. I won't say a very busy trail though. Good terrain, has that forest feel.
Will go back.

Had to pay to get into the park, $12. Not very well marked. Very manicured. Not great.

Nice day for a hike. Trails were nice and dry after the heavy rain we had the other night.

We hiked this trail today with our dog. There are several trails intersecting and this route was fairly easy to follow but did not go by this name. The waterfall was gushing, Trail was dry and well kept. It does narrow quite a bit and we saw a half dozen trail bikes out and one trail runner. My only reason for a 4 is the road noise that can be heard for several sections.

Nice scenic trail. Moderately busy - was there on a weekday afternoon and met a couple runners and five or six mountain bikers - all very friendly and considerate (had my dog with me).

Nice hiking trail. Will come back again!

I’ve lived in Marquette 45 years and never knew this waterfall was just off Wright street. Great hike.

fun & fast...definitely not moderate... its very easy... me & my wife will be back

Be careful, ran straight into a bear ON the trail yesterday. One of my favorite places to run and I know that coming close certain wildlife is always a risk while running in the woods. Don’t let that totally detour you if you want to camp or hike there because it’s really great, but uh, maybe bring bear spray.

Beautiful for hiking practice or a leisurely hike! Bikers stay off the hiking trail, which is nice. Really good distance.

Nice little walk in Northville. Cute little lake you can go fishing or just walk along the trail and enjoy the outside. Just keep filling the green markers for hiking.

Nice trail in the NTN trail network - Marquette North Trails. Connects to many other trails to give more options depending on how far you want to journey. The Ox Bow loop follows closer to the river and gives the opportunity to see more water foul. Well marked trail and easy to follow signs at the major trail crossings.

I just got into riding mountain bikes. This is my first trail and it was really nice and well groomed. I plan to hit many more trials and will be coming back to this one soon!

Great trail. Well travelled but quiet. More moderate than easy. Small markings - take partner and/or cell phone for safety.

Nice trail layout. Trail crosses horse trail once but is separated everywhere else to keep the hikers and riders separated.

Excellent easy trail

Not a hard hike at all. Is great for a relaxing, scenic stroll through a dense Michigan forest. Take the detour to the fishing pond. Looks like something out of a fantasy book.

Nice double loop considering its suburban setting. Trail goes mostly through mature forest. Pond features good waterfowl viewing. Green carsonite posts and trail junction markers mark the hiking trails.

Very nice local trail, well marked and mostly easy. Enjoyable changes from woods and wetlands to a 1-mile meadow loop. Horses, hikers, mtb, dogs, all share the trails companionably. Look for historic landmarks from the Maybury Sanitorium. Saw many bird species, garter snakes (shy), & butterflies including Black Swallowtail.

Great little trail, peaceful, nice scenery, love the horses, and close to home

I like this trail because it never stops testing my balance and riding ability. The technical parts have sharp turns with some up hills or quick down hills. Also when it becomes fast there will be some bumps to cross. Two loops works best for me ;-)

Easy to navigate, nice 3 mile loop. The lake provides outlets to sit and each lunch, and trails are clearly marked for hikers vs. equestrian.

Trail was tacky and wet/slick in a few spots but still a good ride. Always good flow.
