The trail was covered in two inches of fresh, light snow. We were the first to break the powder and had to put on spikes.

It’s seemed like a long three miles in, but the hike was easy. The trail meanders through rolling ups-and-downs until you reach the falls. Very few inclines get your heart pounding.

The falls are beautiful. If you go in the winter be careful of ice. Falling over the side seems almost easy if you’re not wearing spikes.

Beautiful quick hike

Lovely falls and swimming hole. Very easy trail, trail is wheelchair accessible, but the beach is probably not.

Good trail, just very muddy in spring

Beautiful day for a hike, 3 hours in and out. This was my second of the 6er. We also completed Baker shortly thereafter.

Nice views from the top!! If u start from the jack rabbit trail located near whiteface lane you can find a herd path which will be a lot easier then the one from 86. Also McKenzie and haystack u can do it in one day. Cheers to winter hikers!!!

Good short hike to falls, also there are many other trails to explore also.

We wanted to do a winter hike and we had never been here before. the trails were moderately trafficked. you could clearly see the trails with amount of snow (6inches). recommended for families and pets. the waterfall was beautiful with the ice over lapping. very quiet relaxing walk (unless you lose your phone in the snow!!! oops!!! had to go back through the loop and find it haha. ) over all I love this walk and we plan on going back in the spring. we used this for hiking and film photography and loved it.

Well maintained, great views, easy on the joints

Very beautiful trail along the gorge! Natural trail with a few dips and hills, but overall pretty easy. Went in the winter when there were no leaves on the trees so you could see how magnificent the gorge was!

Beautiful fall hike. Took Dad and I about 4.5 hours and we spent an hour or so at the top. Can see many of the high peaks from the top. Fell three times on the way down as it was more slippery once the temperature was warmer. This was a very popular hike with many kids.

Enjoyed the hike. The upper part of the trail was slick due to recent snow and the small dam on the trail had no crossing point (had to cross on a fallen tree). Would like to do it when the leaves are in full color.

nice easier hike, beautiful area, i would go again .

If this is considered moderate, it's at the extreme end toward difficult. muddy, rocky, rooty, messy, not a typically moderate hike

We visited this trail and falls during the fall foliage... Nothing more beautiful.. Even the 1980 Trans am was not.. This is awesome. A must see place to go.

Magnifique !!! Les sentiers sont très beau avec différents points de vue sur la rivière. Et que dire des chutes

Definitely not moderate. Very easy trail. Easy enough for all ages. Great little water fall. You can even jump from behind the water fall & go for a swim (although there are no swimming signs). Great spot to picknick or just hang with family/friends on a summer day. My boyfriend & I actually met here.

Easy, beautiful falls.

A very easy, long walk in the woods that leaves you with great views! Didn't expect the waterfall to be so full this time of year so it was a nice treat. Packed a lunch and really enjoyed taking in the views with my hiking buddy. Just a friendly suggestion - cross the road from the parking lot and walk along the road there to the trail sign. First walk to what we thought was the entrance to the trailhead was not what we thought it was and can be easily missed on the other side of the road. Looking forward to returning to this hike and also hiking the other trails! :-)

nice place for a family day ,waterfalls are beautiful

Great place to take the dogs! Amazing cliff side views

Beautiful hike and view at the top! The trail starts out pretty easily but drastically inclines as you approach the top. The dogs had a blast with good footing and lots of places to swim.

Awesome trail! Not sure I would take a car on Beach Mill Road to get to the trail head. It's a good 3 mile drive in. Lots of pot holes and water holes. Trail is easy to find. We worried about hunters as muzzleloading season opened yesterday (and had a large dog with us). Didn't run into any. A couple little camp site areas on the way. And note when you get to the falls to keep walking. There are more falls ahead! We turned around when we got to the flatland water. Great trail for dogs with some water areas for them to drink. Or play :). There is a sign in book further away from the trail head. Trail is totally covered in leaves so a bit slippery in areas. Ran into a few people on our way in with their dog and one on our way out. Also noticed off beach mill road a few extra trails that we didn't realize Cleveland lake, Payne & procession if I recall) and will look into doing next time. Very beautiful and worth while!! A few "steep" areas but nothing close to a high peak. We didn't have an issue with bugs as it was humid yesterday. Totally worth doing!!

Fairly easy half day hike with great views of several waterfalls. Certain spots aren't marked well but this app helps keep you on the trail.
