Had a great day. Beautiful scenery. Will do again in the near future.

Really pretty trail. The autumn leaves truly made this hike seem yellow. A few easy stream crossings, I was glad to have a hiking pole though. The waterfall at the end is beautiful. About a 200 foot elevation gain on the way back from the falls. The hike from the falls back to the car took us 35 minutes.

I loved the views on this trail. It was a bit rooty but not bad. I am new to hiking and did the trail with ease. To get the cave with waterfall tho is a boulder climb which may be where you turn around! The bathrooms tho were horrid I held it the entire time because of how bad they were.

Decent hike! Far away view from the falls, but nice overlook spot to picnic

My family and I had a great time on this beautiful hike. We love hiking near water and this hike follows the creek more than 90% of the time. My daughters are 6 and 7 and pretty experienced hikers already. This was an easy hike for them and our 2 dog (Vizsla & Yorkie).

Beautiful hike! Did this with my sons last weekend. It was cloud and overcast, so we stayed cool. The falls are a great payoff. I don't recommend climbing to the top of the cliff, it has gotten very dangerous since my last visit a few years ago.

One of my favorite hikes now. The entire hike you’re hiking along a beautiful creek and the incline is easy/moderate until you get to the cliff-which is a very steep and slightly treacherous climb rather than hike but the views to see the waterfall and top of cliff are more than worth it

Pretty walk in the fall season. Walk is on a well maintained dirt/rock road. Look for the trail sign that will lead to the falls. We missed it and kept walking on the road. We heard the falls and realized we were not on the right path. Path to falls is a single wide trail.

Beautiful waterfall and a nice leisurely walk along a wide path. Plenty of parking and many other trails to explore if you feel like venturing off. Quiet area and peaceful.

A beautiful wooded trail that was well maintained. We loved the creeks along the way and waterfall at the end.

Great hike! This is one of those hikes where the journey is a enjoyable as the destination...pretty woods, creek crossings, we took our dogs and they loved it as well.

Did this trail with my two year old son. Had to pick him up twice for some tricky parts. (Rocky hills and some tree root steps), but for the most part it’s easy to navigate. Loved walking close to the lake. Towards the end you can branch off onto other trails to make a longer hike. Five dollars a person or 49 a year for individual and 100 for families fee. Beautiful place with much to offer.

Great hike! I would rate most of the trail easy and very pet/kid friendly. Many photo opportunities of the beautiful waterfalls.
if you want to climb to the top of the falls it is very steep and I would rate it as strenuous.

Easy walk to viewing area. We didn't have any issues with downed trees at all. Beautiful falls!

Beautiful hike with fall color and lots of photo opportunities. Don’t know that I’d rate it as moderate. More like an easy hike. Only a few ups and downs. Passed lots of kids and dogs. Lots of falls along the way. Lots of places to stop and have a picnic. Fall was running heavy after recent rains.

Really fun trail with lots of creek crossings!

Nice trail. Enjoyed the walk. Let’s me know I sure am a flatlander. Used to hiking in Florida where it usually is not too steep.

Absolutely beautiful hike and the waterfalls really nice to hear along the way. The leaves were falling and the contrast of colors were so nice. Loved this trail so much!

Wonderful trail! Follows a creek the whole way, so you get interesting scenery around every bend and the constant, calming sound of babbling water. Plus, there's plenty of places to stop, splash in the creek, or just set awhile and relax. Saw a lot of people camping along the trail.

The waterfall at the end was unique, but kind of a let down. But I didn't mind because the hike there and back was fantastic! This was a fairly crowded trail, so recommend going on a weekday if you can. My dog loved it, with plenty of shade and water to splash in so she stayed cool despite the summer heat.

I appreciate the review that told about the boulders—that was tremendously helpful!! Nice hike and lovely falls. Really enjoyed this early morning hike.

Short Jaunt to the viewing platform...nice waterfall. We did not go down below the falls, looks rather difficult if conditions are wet.

nice place lots of trash in the first half and someone took spray paint to some of the rocks but once you get past that the trails get really nice we went to the little Peachtree rock that was there and it was very nice my four-year-old really enjoyed it as did my wife.

This trail is perfect for all ages! Easy hike in. Just watch out for tree roots. Very unique waterfall. Never seen anything like it. I always wondered what it was like bc of the pictures. This is one you need to see for yourself. The water was flowing real good after Friday’s rain. The fall leaves on the ground made the perfect setting for a beautiful hike!

Not too long, not too short to Yellow Branch Falls with a few creek crossings. Easy hike on the way to the falls, and easy/moderate on way back (due to elevation gain from climbing back out of the valley). There are flats along the way to recover. I hiked it on a cooler/dry day with my 22 month old son strapped to me in our Osprey carrier and there were a few ares where I had some slightly elevated breathing and some burning quads, but not too bad. Pack a lunch because there is ample space near the falls to relax, enjoy the view, and refuel. I also passed about 5 other hiking groups along the way (on a Wednesday afternoon) so it does see some traffic. The trails is also well maintained.

Beautiful fall walk to the waterfalls. One easy stream crossing across large rocks. Some gentle ups and downs on the walk. The trail is well marked and maintained. Very little parking. About 30 minutes from Clemson. Well worth the easy walk to see these gorgeous falls up close.

love this one!

Shaded, so always cool. Streams along most of the trail, so there are lots of places for pups to stop and cool off. Lots of roots. So watch your step! Favorite hike in North Georgia!

Parking is at camp ground parking. Walk down gravel road a ways until you see the trail.head sign for the falls. The walk to the falls was beautiful. Very wooded, lots of ferns, roots to walk over, under canopy all the way with small creek running alongside part of the way. The falls were more than we anticipated. Nice short walk for a beautiful fall.

We hiked this with our 2 dogs and it was an easy route! The path starts on the south end of the parking lot and looks like a dirt vehicle path. Stay on that for a bit until you see 2 boulders with a narrower, rustic path to your left, that leads into the woods. That path climbs a bit and then drops down and you go through 2 more boulders where is joins another path. Stay to the left on that path and to the next, where you will make a left again. Eventually, you come to signage for Wintergreen falls and follow that to the waterfall.

Great add on trek if you're hitting Green Knob Firetower or Setrock Creek Falls. There is parking for about 5-7 cars at the trailhead. The trail is a gravel road, with only minor elevation gain, so very easy for just about anyone. The falls are beautiful and the rocks at the base make great places for photos.
