Love this trail! Just for clarity, according to the NPS website, it is only the Buchanan Spur that is closed for the nesting Falcons; the rest of the trail is open.

As of February 23, 2018 the NPS has closed Cliff Trail to protect nesting Falcons. It is expected to reopen in July or August.

Great hike! Nice views of mountains and waterfall. Recommended.

This is my favorite hike in NJ. We added on to this hike taking the spur to the right, orange marked trail, to Crater Lake. You can walk all the way around Crater Lake or just go back down. We then looped Hemlock Lake. Nice rocky outcropping at the end of Hemlock for a place to rest. Love the views and not too many people.

Took this trail today, beautiful day. Once up the initial incline there are some beautiful views. I read this trail as being 5 plus miles round trip. We were so intune with the beautiful weather and views that we didn’t realize right before the knob that we had gone 5 miles already. BE ADVISED the full loop is 10 plus miles. Well I got a full workout today. Great trail in the winter highly recommend.

I hiked this trail New Year's Day and again a week later. It's beautiful and totally doable covered in snow. I ended up taking the trail along the cliff on the way to Milford Knob and then taking the main trail back to the parking lot.

Beautiful trails between the pine trees. Even though they were frozen the waterfalls were still gorgeous.

Be careful, the road leading to the trail is narrow and winding and has low visibility around curves. Definitely use caution so you don’t get into an accident

very happy with this trail. Very well marked trail. It started as orange/white blaze, to orange only, ending as orange/blue blaze mark trail. Very quiet, only saw two other hikers. The walk way down to the falls made a steep decent easier. The falls are beautiful! Straight back up the mountain to the top for some beautiful views. I watched a red tailed hawk sore for quite some time and spotted a grouping of cedar wax-wings! GORGEOUS birds. There were a few sitting benches which made resting very enjoyable. Highly recommend this trail. It is definitely a moderate rating considering the steep decent and accent to and from the falls.

Loved this trail. I thought it was easy. Had a stairway down to the waterfall. There were about 10 feet that had a kind of scary dropoff, for me anyway, probably not for most people. It was really pretty and peaceful. We went on a weekday.

I absolutely love coming here So much so we got married on the suspension bridge on July 1st. For the rest of my life this hike this trail will have a special meaning to me.

I did one big loop at the Pocono Environmental Education Center. If memory serves it was at least seven miles. It's a beautiful place to hike.

Nice little hike around the top of the mountain. All the really good views can be seen from the monument which is awesome

Great hike for kids/ new to hiking explorers! Not too strenuous and well maintained (not rocky) trails. Beautiful views and gorgeous falls (go down the stairs - it's a climb to get back up to the trail but so doable and worth it). Plenty of benches and rocks to stop and rest while you enjoy the scenery.

Very nice views on this cool crisp November day. The trail is a little on the rocky side in some spots but that's what you get in the Delaware water gap area.

Fantastic hike with lots of beautiful things to see. Have done this hike multiple times and brought friends. I combine the falls and cliff trail.

trail located in a private community... didn't and up hiking it.

It was a really well marked trail! A bit confusing once you hit the monument though. I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful maintained trail with terrific views and beautiful water falls. Parking is very easy as the trail is across the parking lot of PEEC.

Although the Pochuck trail is easy, Adding it to the Stairway to Heaven trail is well worth it.

Agree with Kshitish's comments. I got way way off trail a few times - the new 15 mile trail needs to be marked better. The first part of the trail I covered was beautiful, there was some evidence of bear activity however. But once that trail hit the road I completely lost track of where I was supposed to go. It also seems strange to me to choose to use blue dots while there is a blue dot Appalachian trail that connects to this. Don't follow my track!

Beautiful, beautiful spot. The waterfalls here are absolutely gorgeous. Totally worth the visit.

Loved this hike. I've heard it is very crowded on the weekends so we took 1/2 day of work and arrived at 3:00 on a Friday. Not crowded at all. The 8 mile out and back took us 3 1/2 hours. You can make good time on the boardwalk section. The hike to the vista is challenging but worth it. We did see a bear on the way up, so be aware. Beautiful along boardwalk at sunset.

Love the woods in this area, beautiful hike. Started at sunrise on a Tuesday and only saw two other people on the way back.

First visit today, absolutely beautiful trails are marked and there is easy access for an old man like me. Other reviews were very helpful I plan on a return visit

Great views, easy to walk.

Most absolutely beautiful views! Peaceful and aww inspiring!

Great hike with my dog. Orange trail has beautiful features with waterfalls, scenic views and ponds. Well marked and kept up trails.

By far one of my favorite hikes! Beautiful!

Great trail. Hardly anyone there. A good bit of up and down, but not overly strenuous. Dog got to swim in Hemlock Lake! :)
