Best in Kenosha County and rarely busy. Plenty of Geocaches and stunning in the fall. Bring your bug spray in the summer!

Pretty but not worth the drive

Went early enough in the morning that it wasn’t crowded. I really enjoyed the trail but wasn’t able to complete the entire loop because of a Bear encounter. A Black bear came out of the woods onto the trail about 60 feet in front of me grunting (with a little bit of growling) and posturing. Scared the daylights out of me but i knew what to do and all was well. VERY awesome experience!

Had fun on this hike. It was challenging at some points. A lot of elevation changes at the first part. Be careful of slippery rocks on decents. Very nice fews off of the bluffs overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains.

Went here on the recommendation of a fellow dog walking friend and absolutely fell in love the restaurant place. Stunning views of the lake can be see throughout the trail and so beautifully maintained. The great thing is the walk down to the lake where lots of families picnic and enjoy their day. Dogs are definitely welcomed on leash and the best part is that when the wind is coming from the east the lake trail is actually much cooler and for a mountain dog owner who hates any heat this makes a huge difference.

Beautiful Love all the flowers & Butterflies

Nice steep hike, good for some off trail climbing. Good challenge for all ages and dogs, beautiful views!

Easy to hike with a dog or the whole family, part of the trail is a bit tricky to identify. Great hike beautiful views

Nice hike and a great view! Well worth it.

Great hike for the entire family.

Beaitiful walk- great workout with all the ups & downs. Saw deer & great lake views.

Waterfall not worth the crowd! Hike to falls is app. 1/4 mile from the road. Use Stephens' Falls for a trailhead and keep moving.

FYI...after a big rain, the crowds are gone and the falls are much more impressive...can be a beautiful spot.

This trail is the definition of "bang for your buck". It is super accessible for hikers of all skill levels and is quite beautiful, in spots. Go early and hike the cloverleaf of inter-connected trails. Skip Stephens' Falls unless you like a crowd.

Pros:

- Close to home (Madison)
- Beautiful natural landscape
- Trail(s) is/are well marked

Cons: (not really)

- Super busy! Hard to relax.
- Crowded parking on the road
- Trail is heavily wooded in spots...mosquito and tick repellent is a must must must!

Continued to Lost Canyon Trail from Stephen’s falls. There were some beautiful rock formations with regular encounters with small creeks throughout. Trail is well marked. I definitely recommend bug spray! There were some steep inclines, but worth it!

Stephen’s Falls is markedly advertised from the main road through the park. It’s a very short hike down to the waterfall, though there are some steep areas. Beautiful scenery. Can be overcrowded. But, who doesn’t love a waterfall? You can connect to the Lost Canyon Trail for additional hiking.

It was a nice morning for a hike.

inaccurate title so giving it 3 star. Map depicts a loop combining *part* of east bluff trail and east bluff WOODS trail. check park map carefully. Be prepared, this area has paved areas and strenuous rock stair ascents.

Awesome! Super steep start but worth the effort. Amazing views. We did tumbling rocks on the way back. Neat as well.

During the summer weekends there are so many people hiking up and down this much-trafficked trail. However, it’s definitely a must see. And, if you’re into climbing, there are so many places to set-up along the trail!

Personally, I think the climbing is much better than the hiking, but if you prefer hiking, the trails are very well maintained, though the lower trails at the base of the climbing routes can be a little tricky to navigate with rocks. We take our dog (a small puggle) and she loves to clamber over the trails.

Well maintained

Love this place, hike up top for a gorgeous view of the lake and then take the stairs down and see how close to Port Washington you can go.

We LOVE this 3 mile loop! Beautiful vistas, wood boardwalks through the marsh, bridges, well maintained and labeled trails through the woods (accessible trails marked), stairs down to Lake Michigan and wildlife/flowers everywhere! I hiked this with my 8, 12 and 14 year old girls. They loved it, too! We went on a Thursday afternoon and we passed several hikers, dogs and joggers on trails and beach. Bugs were as you would expect for a June Wisconsin day. Bug spray helped. Parking lot close to well marked trails. Easy to find. Bring a camera - the views are incredible!

Nice easy walk with gorgeous scenery!!

This is a nice trail that goes around the entire lake. The people that have houses on the lake have given up a small strip of their land for you to walk on, so be mindful of that. Along those lines, there really aren't too many places to exit that trail once you get on it since it goes through private property. Make sure you bring snacks/water with you for however long you plan on walking.

4/5 stars because during the summer it's pretty crowded and the trail isn't very wide to accommodate the traffic. There are nice lake views and cool houses to see, though. I would do it again.

Beautiful place to spend a day. Lots of rental opportunities on the lake as well like, kayak, boat, paddle board etc. will do again!

Devil’s Doorway is definitely one of the busiest spots along the Devil’s Lake trails but is a must-see if you’re visiting the park for the first time

Quiet and hilly grass loop trails that regularly intersect. I’m directionally challenged so needed to refer to the app regularly to stay on course. I went right after it rained and the mosquitoes were rampant.

Trail is kept nice. Comfortable on the feet, soft ground.
