Great place to enjoy fall foliage colors. It is very crowded during peak fall foliage and the ticket line could take 1 hr, but it is worth the wait. Pathways are well maintained.

beautiful short hike with amazing fall at the end!

My boyfriend now finance asked me to marry him at the top of Indian Head. It was nothing short of surprise and filled with a beautiful view! Amazing hike, easy for frequent hikers, definitely moderate for the random hikers such as ourselves. Totally worth the trip especially when the Flume gorge is filled with people!

Nice walk, not challenging. Nice scenery.

This is definitely more of a moderate trail and not an easy beginner hike. It is about 1.8 miles each way but the view at the top is very worth it. It is a pretty steady incline up hill for extended periods. Worth it to wear hiking boots and a hiking pole.

As expected - a perfect place to enjoy the foliage! Gorgeous views and waterfalls, and the wooden decks are very well maintained! But note that this place is super popular in the fall and prepare to stand in the line for approx.30mins to buy tickets, unfortunately you can’t buy them online. But the trail is definitely worth the wait, you will love it!

great short walk with beautiful views

Did this back in June as a "warm up" hike and loved it! Finding the trail head was a tad confusing but the trail was a breeze and the summit had amazing views. Will do again and recommend to those who with families and beginner hikers.

Straightforward walk for most of the mileage, but nice scenery. Plenty of room for the traffic. Several really nice views overlooking the rocks and river, but most is forest. Waterfall bit is slightly tougher footing, but not that bad. Great place for a lunch and break before heading back.

did this hike today with my 5 month old puppy, what a great hike. beautiful falls at the top and enjoyed friendly fellow hikers on our trek.

it's a nice and easy trail to hike, perfect for all ages. the fall foliage is spectacular. 16$ seems a bit expensive though, considering there are plenty of beautiful and free hikes around the area.

Beautiful peaceful hike along the falls, colors spectacular. Bridal Veil Falls a bit fogged in but still able to see the top of falls through the breaks in the fog

Great trail with gorgeous views of the falls

Hiked with my 6 and 10 year old.

As of 9/1/18

Long Pond Rd is washed out and you will have to park at the end of it before the gate.

Fairly easy hike. Most of the trail is free of rocks and roots which will speed you up greatly. Peak is hard to find. If you get to the large Cairn you've gone to far. Head back and almost to the last clearing you will see small trail that heads towards a large square boulder. The peak is up there.

Also this mountain really lives up to its name. There are a lot of blueberries on the way up. Peak had minimal views but a really good clearing towards Moosilaukee. The only good views the whole hike are towards the east and directly at Moosilaukee.

We only saw one other hiker the entire trip. Makes it feel really desolate.

Nice hike. Unbeatable views. Well worth it.

Nice and easy 5.0 mile Out and Back. Trail is in great shape, no mud. Took the whole family and even the 3 year old had no trouble. Not too steep! Not too rocky, it's just right!

Oct. 3 2018, very nice easy trail, leaves were beautiful, lots of places to leave trail and walk to the river or small creeks. Easy for kids.

Water flowing the whole way up and great solitude hiking in dark timber. Lots of small trail challenges make it fun, especially navigating in the rain. Beautiful views from the top. High pay-off for such short mileage!

Great views for a short, rainy day hike! Waited for the clouds to change and saw great colors.

Great hike! The reward at the summit is completely worth it! Moderately hard.

Love this trail. It’s probably out 10th time over the years. Easy, beautiful and peaceful.

Easy walk to the falls. A few steps that are a little steep. Very rewarding!!

Great Starter trail ... Amazing river setting with waterfall on the trail

Loved the views at the top. Recovering from knee surgery but this was doable with hiking poles and a brace and lots of rest stops. I should have worn hiking boots instead of sneakers!

The hike itself is pretty in spots but I don't think it's worth paying for. It's a very easy walk with very minimal elevation gain and is heavily traveled so expect to wait behind people on the boardwalk.
