My sister and I came here a day after it rained here. Everything was green and beautiful. This is a pleasant trail where you have many different trail options.

Great trails with a lot to see. However there were some parts that would be difficult for children or seniors to cross. Enjoyed the river and not so congested walk.

Great trail. Perfect for a morning hike to get the blood flowing. Not difficult, small boulders in a couple areas. Small elevation climb towards middle. Beautiful and well maintained!

Exactly what I was looking for... great for trail running.

Nice trails for all levels of hikers, a little rocky so prepare and be careful.

Great hike with lots of options to shorten or lengthen the adventure. Wildlife and amazing views year round.

Many different ways to hike between hills and great views. Great workout . Enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

bummer to find out it was not open on Wednesday after driving an hour to get there. crap!
looked like a nice trail though. so dont let my one star of disappointment discourage your hike

Nice varied trail with a little climbing over rocks and lots of optional detours that lead down to the river. Partially tree covered and especially nice if there has been recent rain to green up the vegetation.

Perfect in the winter.

We did two river crossings! Probably went he wrong way but it was a blast. Doable for all levels and a lovely Sunday afternoon stroll through nature.

Epic fun ride, great views, lots of climbing! Hidden Spring is a technical climb. I walked most of it. Overall, it was fun, flowy, and challenging, great for mountain biking. This is my 4th time at Daley Ranch exploring trails. Will do this again starting the opposite direction

Parking can be difficult, but I never had to pay. Great for trail-running, hiking, or walking. Shady canyons and big views from rocky outcrops. Plenty of elevation change for a good challenge.

One of my favorite trails in the area - lots of shade on a warm day, beautiful Fall colors this week! we added the loop at the far end, starting just after the wrecked car, for a total of 5.8 miles.

I would love to rate this trail but the lot was closed and I couldn’t try it. The gate was still locked at 9:00 a. m. while it was supposed to be open at 8:00. Disappointing.

best hiking for my family and friends!

Absolutely peaceful, varied, and beautiful trail. Stream, pond, deer, sweeping views. Loved it.

Easy to moderate 10 mile hike that is an easy drive from Vista. You need a map or GPS as some routes aren't marked well. Saw a few bikes at the beginning, but few people after that. Overall a good day.

The 1/2 mile that I hiked was mostly 3+ inches of loose sand. then came the creek crossings that were not setup for those of us without horses. creek looked nice.

Lovely state park and awesome trail! We did about a 9 mile loop that included forest, meadows, creeks and epic views. Good mix of strenuous and easy. $10 to park and rangers helped us with a map of trails to follow!

only one way. no markings.

This was one of the best hikes! Highly recommend it

We took the rangers recm and followed the route she suggested. The trails took us thru various terrain. We were covered under the forest canopy of giant oak and cedar trees. We even came across a few deer and the greatest find was coming upon a fallen giant oak tree. It was at least 15 feet on its side above our heads.

I love this trail, especially in the Fall. I bring my labrador and we have a great time.

Pick up you dog s**t and trash you filthy animals. Don’t bring your aggressive dogs on trail; otherwise it is a nice stroll.

We did hell creek trail to horse thief loop, about 4 miles. Beautiful hike, steep downhill in, step uphill out. Clean well maintained trails.

Awsome hike. I posted a 36 min video on YouTube of the full hike. Do search "hellhole canyon preserve full hike 9.25" if you want to see what it is like.

Got a little lost, would highly suggest keeping a map close by. Great hike overall. Little hidden ponds were fun to find.

This is our go to for a quick dose of nature. I often come here to clear my head and get centered.i love this place. It’s beautiful after a heavy rain.

Not a bad trail. More of a nature walk than a hike. Sandy along the river bed. Several shallow crossings.
