The “Main Loop” trail is well-marked with yellow blazes for the first 1.7(ish) miles, but then it’s rarely marked for the final three miles. That said, it has snowed and someone had laid down track ahead of me, so I was able to follow their path. Since it was my first time on this trail, I kept wondering if I had gone the wrong way at some point, but I made it around twice.

Aside from the trail marking issue, it was a lovely hike. Some rolling elevation, but no steep hills or hills that go on for longer than 1/10 of a mile or so. There is a pavillion around the 3.75mi mark, so I stopped for lunch.

It was naive enough that I’ll make the 45 minute drive to hike it again...

Great trail, plenty to see.

Walk is beautiful and peaceful. Didn't see other walkers and didn't hear cars until we approached the trail by the road. First time we followed the yellow trail and it ended up being 5.57 miles. Second time we did yellow to blue and that cut out 3.2 miles of the walk. As you get deeper into the woods the mosquitoes get pretty bad. My fiancé was eaten alive, so definitely make sure you bring bug repellent. There are benches throughout the woods. The signs stop getting as frequent so you're kind of left guessing where to go but it's not too difficult. It was a beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful hike.

Great trail! Clean paths

Love this. peaceful and well blazed. Some hills. Wind storm knocked a few trees across trail but fairly easy to navigate. If you don't see a blaze, follow the clumps of planted grass. Beautiful in the spring with groves of trillium.

This place smells. There’s lots of bugs. Oh and there’s always kids skipping out from school hanging out down here. I always call the cops because they are usually just making out with each other and drinking beer. Watch your back down here too. It’s a little shady and I don’t mean protection from the sun. Put all your valuables in your trunk.

great path for easy walk and with dog. nice and shaded and not crowded.

Always peaceful and seldom encounters with others. I have seen fox, river otters and of course deer, coyotes and turkey.

Nice trail mostly wooded, if you follow the main loop. However it is not marked the best, and the second time there we ended up walking through a lot of fields out in the hot sun. Otherwise nice mellow hike through the woods.

good trail, pretty flat ground & plenty of tree cover. one complaint is that the trails are not well-marked in a few places

I did this yesterday it's a good ride with a couple of technical area's which were a short severe incline and desent but there is by passes around them other than that it's an easy ride.

Take your shoes off and Hike up the falls if possible !!

Ok trail. It is not a loop that we could see although trail is not well marked. A few small waterfalls if you follow the stream bed up through the park. Definitely some better trails in the CVNP.

This trail is a bit rough and is poorly marked. But the cuyahoga River is pretty

A more accurate address:

11243 Wheeler Road, Hiram OH 44231

(I looked up the address on the internet after our hike; hope it helps someone!)

This place was very nice! We had a nice picnic before hiking. There is a pavilion with tables at the trail head. Also under the pavilion, there were some informational displays and color coded paper maps which we found very helpful while hiking. The trail was well marked and made it easy to choose our route. There are multiple variations to the loop. It was a beautiful place, very natural and green! The trail is correctly rated at Moderate. It's a very good hike ~ try it sometime!

Well kept flat quiet trail. My wife and I enjoy the section from Ft Laurens to Zoar.

Well kept trail for hiking. The locks and history panels are very interesting. Also take time to visit historic Zoar and Fort Laurens museum.
