The signage was a little misleading. We ended up on the Holder creek trail I think, which we do not recommend. You can hear the highway during the hike. If you stay on it long enough you end up on the side of the highway. The creek is nice though. And the trail is wide enough for two people at times.

Nice hike with things to see along the way! The huge Talus rocks were amazing and saw a beautiful waterfall as well. Not a difficult hike at all.

Can see Mt. Rainer at times, but there wasn't a really amazing view. Nice quick hike. Lots of horses, which was neat.

Really fun trail! Hard to find at first since its a trail with in a trail! But the rocks were cool!

Great Hike with kids. Beautiful creeks on the way

It’s a great trail but if you’re paying really close attention to the signs, you’ll wander off onto one of the dozens of other trails running through Cougar Mountain and you’ll be there for much longer than you planned. Very kid friendly, saw plenty of families while I was there with kids even as young as toddlers.

Steep sections lead to a fantastic waterfall and a trip next to a talkative creek.
wheel chair friendly doesn't apply to this trail at all

Lots of folks on this trail.

Beautiful snowy day cleaning up after dog owners.

Flat, easy trail with some views of the lake. Was relatively low traffic- but also its winter (Feb).

Great for kiddos and pups. Parking a little tricky when busy.

Amazing sight, I went around 7 and pretty much had the park to myself.

Great loop for taking a kid on a hike or running. Waterfall was strong in January.

My 4 & 5 year old both walked the whole loop! The waterfall was gorgeous. Although parking is a beast, the trail was not packed. We’ll be back!

Nice hike, beautiful views..Great for all skill levels. Several trail signs. Not very many people on the trail for a Monday afternoon

The falls were beautiful!! Wasn’t able to hike the trail. Rainey day with a 3 year old in tow.

Great forest trail. Some up and down, but not overly strenuous. We took our 6-month old in a backpack carrier and it wasn't too hard. Waterfall was a nice surprise.

Relaxing hike in a nice area. Don't forget your Discover pass

Quit complaining about horse poop. The horsemen have kept this as well as other Taylor mtn trails open. Also, it is Niro a dog leash trail. I’ve been to meetings about this. Almost too bad they improved the parking. It has way more traffic than it used to.

A chill start to the new year

Great short hike with a mixture of short steep steps at the first half and slow declines at the latter half. We enjoyed the sceneries throughout the hike namely the misty fog at the beginning opening with all the trees, the waterfall, and the big rocks.

I feel like it should be mentioned this trail shares a Trailhead with the high point and tiger mountain hikes, so even though this specific trail is pretty quiet the parking can fill up quick! It’s mostly all up hill if you are coming from the west tiger trail. The rocks themselves are pretty cool and there’s a pretty seasonal waterfall.

decently tough hike. the view from the top is great! two view point from top. a restroom at the top is a great help!

Excellent Christmas Eve day hike! 5 kids made it to the talus rocks. They loved it.

Great trail with beautiful trees, moss, and ferns. The giant rocks at the top are a nice payoff for the hike up. We did as others suggested, go counterclockwise for dirt hiking up and more-stable gravel hiking down. We took a small detour to extend our hike and we discovered that West Tiger 3 and Cable Line trails connect where they are close together on the map. We considered going down Cable Line to make a longer loop, but very glad we didn't after later learning more about Cable Line, which is a challenging workout.

The main Trail was closed down but the views from the main area was great! Wish the Trail was open though.

Well kept trails, very pretty hike, I believe the trail name to actually be called central peak and we found the trail markings to be pretty confusing and not marked well. We always take a paper map and I use a couple apps to help navigate through trails. Also this specific trail head charges
$10 for parking, which is fine we just haven’t seen that at most other trail heads we’ve parked at.

Really enjoyed all the different views of the rocks.
