Very pretty!

Loved this trail! I would like to point out that the trail is very close to cliff edges so I wouldn’t recommend bringing children.

Really pretty in some areas. Thickly wooded. If you're by yourself it's an easy hike. However, it's DANGEROUS if you have two big dogs with you because the a large portion of the path is narrow (my dogs were shoulder to shoulder) and on the edge of a cliff.

It is amazing what nature does. I was truly suprised when I saw this natural phenomenon!

Awesome! Bring flashlights to explore many cave areas.

Easy trail on 11/09/18. Good for beginners and children, especially wandering around in the lower caves, Jig Saw Blocks, Eden Falls and natural bridge. The more moderate up/down is at the top to the big cave; as said, probably not suitable for kids.

I’ve been around a lot of the Buffalo area and this has got to be one of my favorite hikes. Not only is the waterfall spectacular but the hike is excellent and the whole area looks like a place fairies might dwell. If the camp area across from the trail is full there is a turn out off the highway to the West that’ll require a ten minute walk to the trailhead. A lot of elevation gain to the bluffs, go left to the falls. Though the hike to the right is beautiful too if you have time. Loved climbing around on the boulders. If you have a hiking partner give them some space, slips and slides will happen even in the best hiking boots and trail runners. Came in the autumn and the green valley along the creek with the autumn colors surrounding it was just spectacular. Get ready to use your hands to climb out from the grotto.

I have enjoyed this trail multiple times and never get tired of exploring it and seeing it in different seasons! Highly recommend for beginners and experts

This hike was a beast for me! Partially due to the fact that my brother lied and said it was rated moderate to get me to join in, lol. It’s a workout both ways but the hollow is breathtaking. When we went the waterfall was pretty light but still beautiful. This was my entryway to the world of hiking and I will always remember it fondly ❤️

Great trail, the fall colors were at their peak, even with the parking lots full and cars parked along the road it was still a nice hike. Once you are on the trail people spread out and find their own places so it's not wall to wall people all the time. It is still nicer in the middle of winter when their are no crowds and you have the place to yourself ....sometimes.

Beautiful and hard...and worth it, for sure!!! Wear solid shoes, have your first-aid kit, and enjoy the views. Breathtaking!

fantastic in the fall. easy trail. bring a hammock. lots of good spots to enjoy the views. definitely going back with a crashpad.

Beautiful spot.
It is a bit tricky to find. But someone has spray painted a mark on the road and hung a ribbon in the tree where the trail starts. There are several trace trails in the area. My advice is this: go uphill until you get to the bluffs then turn left and keep going. Stay up fairly high near the bluff line. Take your time. The rocks are super slick. Eventually the creek and bluff will meet and there’s your waterfall.

awesome awesome. BUT. The signs are pointed wrong! when you get to the first fork and says Eden Falls to the right, go LEFT up the hill. Staying right takes you to a beautiful natural stone area with water running out a cave, and you can go through the cave and lots to explore. but that is not the Falls or Cob Cave. Follow both trails, enjoy, but don't miss the real falls!

Very cool cave at end.

Nice trail

Great little hike! Took my time heading down, went down to the falls and then doubled back over to the river. Didn’t time the trek as a whole, started off a little before 1pm and took my time at the river, the 2.3mi hike back up took 50 minutes for me at a steady pace.

Very unique place!!

Prepare for an uphill hike similar to mountain climbing and lots of stream crossings. Beautiful hike. Rightfully rated hard!

Easy hike
Beautiful falls

Visited in the fall after a rain and thought the falls would be flowing a little bit better. But it was still a nice hike and cool sight to see.

Maybe because my expectations weren't high but I ended up loving this trail. It has a beautiful natural bridge, waterfall and cave. Would return in a heartbeat.

Yes it is a climb up but it isn’t as hard as a lot of people have said. Bring water and some snacks. There are a few places to stop on the way to take a break if needed. The waterfall was only a trickle but that meant we didn’t get wet crossing the streams. Truly a sight to see!

After leaving Haw Creek Falls we headed north/northeast on 123 to try to find Pam's Grotto. Thanks to the tips from M. Cannon's review & a few minutes of searching, we were able to find the trailhead. The word "locate" is spray painted on the road on the same side as the trail right at the beginning. The trail is fairly steep for the first ¼ mile then it levels off as you walk alongside the base of the rock bluff. It looked like the trail split (to the right over a downed tree or up & to the left). From some of the earlier descriptions, we chose to go left. A lot of the trail looked familiar thanks to the pics, but we didn't find where the "grotto" was located. We went about ½ mile & decided to turn around, thinking it might have been the other direction, plus we were running out of time. We saw some beautiful scenery so we didn't feel like we left completely empty handed. The leaves had barely started changing colors & the creeks were pretty low, but still very lovely. I'm going to try to find a better trail map & account for a little more exploring time, & come back. Also keep in mind that there isn't cell service so plan ahead.

Great hike with wonderful views. Lots of little trails to go on and get great pictures. Not a strenuous hike. Watch your step once out on the rocks. There are cracks and holes one could fall in. Wouldn’t recommend bringing the kids. I would recommend doing King’s Bluff while there.

Even after the rains, the water was just trickling but it is still worth the hike to see.

We hiked up to the top of Eden Falls and ventured into cave! If you want to crawl into the cave, bring a head lamp. There wasn’t much water flowing out which kept us dry. There is a spot where you have to crawl/get very low. If you are able, do it! The cave and hike to it, are not kid friendly. The hike to Eden Falls is kid friendly. The trail has been washed out in some spots but still very easily accessible.

Great trail with an amazing ending! The cathedral is beautiful and the echos are awesome! The waterfall was only trickling very little but that made standing under it that much more fun to cool off. The hike down was pretty easy even though we broke a sweat. However the hike up made it the hardest hike I have ever encountered! It’s one of those that you give your hiking buddy a high five when you reach the top! It was really neat to see, but it’s safe to say I’ll probably only do it this one time.

Very nice, very tall falls. We got off our kayaks to hike up it. The hike there has a ton of scenery, you’ll cross several creeks to get there. Make sure it has rained prior if you want to see the falls in full effect. Well worth the trip.
