Easy 90 minute hike. Did this with a 40lb pack as a training course for longer hikes.

Beautiful!!!

Beautiful old forest

Fun trail to walk, and great view!

One of the best hikes that I’ve been on but make sure to wear the proper shoes.

Calm beautiful walk/hike. Dog friendly and wide trails. Dogs were all leashed!

Wasn’t the best but then again I’m more into long hikes

AMAZING HIKE!! I wouldn’t call it a moderate trail unless it’s referring to just the distance. Nice general grade for the most part but well worth it. Will go back in the warmer months for some swimming, there are some great pools I’d love to jump into.

By far the best hike I have ever been on, hands down!! Some of the biggest and most beautiful waterfalls around. I will recommend this hike to everyone from now on! Amazing!!!

I love this trail. It’s beautiful and a short drive from home. It’s easy but hilly, so you can get a good work out. It has many side trails to explore.

Great small hike suitable to take kids.
Paths are well defined and was muddy. There are so many side trails it was difficult to choose a path at times, but a great walk!

Short hike ➡️ Beautiful Falls

Nice trail! Plenty of water, lake, creeks & flowing stream with several waterfalls! The trail could be better marked, but even getting off it was through pleasant surroundings! The app was the only way we knew we were going the right way! Thanks All Trails!,

Hiked this trail a number of times, and it is one that is relatively easy at most points but has a few rough spots if you're not careful. Great view of the Gorge.

Had such a nice time. Pretty flat trail. A few spots made me nervous with young kids but we just picked them up. Such a cool place! We’ll definitely be back. Ohh and there’s a playground for after!

This was our first time coming here and didn’t really know what to expect as a friend had been suggested it so we thought, why not? If you’re looking for a quiet hike, this is not it. We got an early start but it was a constant stream of people, bikes, horses, etc. Not a big deal to some but not my idea of a hike. It was also clear that many people don’t clean up after their dogs, which was disappointing as I carried my bags the easy 2.5 miles to the garbage. We came from the Hantwick TH and planned to take some trails past the bridge but there was zero signage which for a place like this, you’d think they would have some guide or map other than just elevation. we did the most obvious small loop and called it good as we were getting a little irritated trying to figure it out past that. Like others have said too, hard to see the falls in high water season so maybe a sign to let you know what you may be looking at would’ve been nice. The scenery and bridge were beautiful, it just wasn’t the right “hike” for us.

My all time favorite hike. But it has gotten so crowded in recent years. I visited here just weeks before the fire closed it in 2017.

Very sad. But can’t wait for it to reopen.

Fantastic hike, gorgeous in every way, waterfalls, lush greenery, flowers, mushrooms, moss, all that's missing are the little fairies :) Took us about 5-6 hrs, just what we needed.

Short moderately steep but the stairs helped. May 2017. Enjoyed the views and the lush green. And the waterfall was beautiful. Wish I was in better shape for the hike back out, had to stop once to catch my breath.

does anyone know someone to contact for a reopen date of this trail?

Miss this place

my very first trail in Oregon

Great easy trail to hike with my dog. There were other dogs and bikers on this trail.

Lots of folks out, which wasn't surprising considering it was a beautiful sunny day in January. I'd like to go back to explore some more of the smaller inner trails sometime too.

Just did a quick 2 miles around part of the lake, so beautiful!!! So many different trails and routes to take, I can’t wait to go back and explore more. Definitely many people out today, and it was sprinkling so I imagine it would be extremely packed during the warmer months. So pretty though!

This is my favorite trail!

Beautiful view for a short hike. Dog and kid friendly, small incline on the way back up. 2/3 of a mile, and the interpretive trail at the north of the parking lot has three gorgeous overlooks on a 1/5 mike loop. A lot of bang for your buck.

Waterfall payoffs every couple miles plus a birch forest, lots of forest to explore and very quiet in January. Will be back.
