Beautiful, quiet on a Friday morning, pretty dry except for a few water crossings, lots of gorgeous flora to enjoy, great views.
snow was up to are hips at the 2.5 mile mark, broke trail the entire way up. Was about 20 degrees at the top not including wind chill, definitely a summer hike. The trail is covered in veg and knocked down trees, the view is still well worth the hike on a nice day.

Soooo beautiful!! Trail is narrow but well maintained. A few fallen trees near the start but nothing major. Gorgeous waterfalls/creeks to pass through (waterproof boots are helpful on this one) and gorgeous winter wonderland for the last mile!! The lookout was beyond worth it. Just stunning :)
Nice hike. Micros needed for last .5 to summit.
Only really snowy and a little icy the last mile. Absolutely pleasant! We didn’t see another soul the whole time. Definitely useful to have spikes on the way down that last mile at the top.

Good condition. Very little snow or ice. A few downed trees.
Went on 12/12. Such a beautiful and underrated hike! Actually turned out being our favorite hike we did this week. It was super short but so glad we did it!

Amazing view with a serious climb to the lookout. No bathroom at the trailhead but there is a bathroom at the lookout which you can drive to if you don’t want to hike. The view are impressive but not as impressive as hurricane ridge as you are farther out of the park. You can see a bit of Lake Crescent but Mt Storm King has a better view of the lake.
Great moderate trail. Most of the elevation gain is at the end on the way up to the lookout. It follows the road up to the lookout. Beautiful view totally worth it!
The beginning has many different routes to take. Try out a few.
Surreal beauty. Easy trail that’s family friendly.
