Beautiful hike! You can hear streams and see waterfalls all throughout the hike. Get here early, the parking lot is full by 10:30 on the weekend. Lots of families and people hiking on the weekend but still did not feel crowded.

Great hike with views of two snowcapped summits, multiple chilly lakes to jump in, including a rock you can jump off from ~10ft high and plenty of flowers in bloom. A sampling of all of the best classic Cascades features.

This hike is great because it comes with a lot of wildlife! I saw a bunch of marmots and chipmunks everywhere. Super amazing views of rainier as you hike towards it and away through green meadows. Highly recommend for the first hike if your going to paradise

Absolutely worth the hike to get the awesome view up at the fire tower! Definitely feels longer than you might think at times. Bring some food to replenish & plenty of water. Had no issues with parking or bugs when I went over labor day weekend 2018 - arrived around 9:30am. We spent our time after the hike over at Mowich lake for the rest of the afternoon. Great way to relax and enjoy your accomplishment.

Great, easy, dog friendly hike. The view of the lake is beautiful, if you can tolerate the crowd. The trail is in excellent condition and there’s plenty of parking at the trailhead.

Great hike, great panorama.

It’s a hard road throughout hiking. It was a challenging rather than enjoying the scenery nature offers like other hiking b/c up/ down hills hurt feet a lot. I felt I go through a hardship but resting and majestic scenery on the top after a long hard walking makes all of hardship worthy and grateful to survive from it and appreciate the beauty of nature!

Did a beautiful, but cold sunrise hike to First and Second Burroughs on 8/25/18. It was WAY too windy and cold to continue to Third Burroughs. I’ll definitely have to make it the next time :)

Great trail. Road to the trail head is very bumpy, but I was able to make it up there with a VW Jetta. Easy first mile, the last mile and three quarters is definitely a climb.

Great hike! Hard to beat the views of Rainier. Crowds were pretty intense, especially on west side of the loop, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Nice hike and a decent view. But I hope you enjoy sharing the trail.

great hike up. good workout. did it with my 12 yr old son. he only complained minimally. view is absolutely gorgeous. will be doing this one again.

Hiked on September 14th, started from Parking lot at Sunrise. Started hiking around 9am, cold with light snow . Hiked to the 3rd mountain, which had much more snow, even lost the trail a couple times. Very peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view of glaciers. Not tough hiking at all, dress warm as the weather has changed on the Mountain. Total round trip with a lunch break on 2nd mountain (30 minutes) and several stops to take pictures was about 4hrs.

Sooo pretty! The trees are changing colors so it’s perfect for your larches fix these next couple weeks. Follow the cairns and in the core zone, the trail usually hugged the lakes until it takes you back up to the left down down down many boulder fields. We clocked 20.1 miles with 5,534ft of elevation gain. 12 hours even with three breaks. 1 hr 45 minutes up aasgard.

Such a beautiful hike, the waterfalls & wildflowers were breathtaking. We did have two young black bears cross in front of us, highly recommend taking some bear spray

The very beginning 15 minuets where the toughest as we were also carrying heavy overnight backpacks. But the rest of the trail was very easy and beautiful.

It was such a pretty trail with an amazing view. There are some point where the trail is steep but it’s worth it when you see the views.

Wow what an amazing hike! The scenery from start to finish is beautiful, and the ending is definitely worth the effort, resulting in a superior view of Mount Rainier.

We attended to reach Camp Muir, Mt Rainier on August 26th, 2018 from from the base at Paradise at 5400’. We started on the Skyline trail around 9:00 am and went via Panorama Point and all the way to Pebble Creek Trail. The views of the mountain are just amazing. The hike was snow free until we reached above 7200’. On the way we met one of the volunteer rangers who un warned that thunderstorms may be coming in late afternoon. We continue our hike on the snow a little late in the day and we made it all the way to above 8500’. At this point was already passed 3:00pm and we decided to turn back. It’s a considered a strenuous hike, but doing it is way harder than that. I’ll be back to finish this hike soon! Manny

Stunning hike that starts by a lake. The first mile or so is extremely easy as you’re either walking on flat ground or heading down. The second half gets far more difficult with the elevation gain. Both lakes are beautiful but Eunice Lake is far more visible. Once you make it to Eunice Lake the trees open up and you can see the fire lookout perched on the mountain. The fire lookout itself is beautiful and has an amazing 360 degree view. My only complaint is the 16 mile gravel road that leads to the trailhead which feels like it will destroy your car. Also $30 for a week pass to the park is a little steep (when I highly doubt anyone goes for more than 1-2 days).

magical

Have done this trail a few times. One of my favorite, “quick and easy” trails. Yesterday I went to hike it again with my brother when we spotted something about 25 ft down a switchback running into the brush. Back end looked like a cat. We had no issues but def be prepared, always!

Stunning view from the fire watch tower! The drive up there is the worst part. It’s an hour of driving on gravel. It costs $30 since you’re in Rainier National Park so have cash or a check ready OR visit the ranger station. The lake is a nice way to cool off during the hike

Beautiful hike. Stayed one night at marmot and went up to jade as a day hike. Heading up to jade is definitely worth it!

I have been wanting to do this hike for a while in one day and last Saturday 9/8 /2018 started at 5 am from Stuart Lake Trail-head where my wife dropped me and finished at 7 pm in Snow lakes Trail-head. Asgard was definitely hard for me . Doing this hike in a day certainly pushed me to the limit and more , however the reward is fantastic , the landscape is very beautiful . I clocked 23 miles in 14 hours. An amazing hike !

I started at 8.30am at the parking lot and by the time I got to the snow section at 10am, it was still firm. On my way down at 11am-ish it had soften quite a bit. I wore micro spikes up, but when I was coming down I saw some people successful walk up with out micro spikes. Though if you have it, might as well bring it.

Awesome hike! Beautiful views from the top!

Doing this in a day will push you to your limits, but it's insanely rewarding. One of the locals referred to it as "The Enchantments Death March" which sounds about right.

Start early: we hit the trail at 5:30 am and finished around 5:30pm, and we pushed pretty hard all day.

Great loop to trail run. All of the hard elevation gain is in the first 4 miles or so. It’s a little more gradual for a mile after that, then it’s all downhill. Beautiful views of Mt. Rainier on a sunny day. Get an early start because there is not a lot of parking.
