Amazing Overlooks! Would recommend going on a clear blue sky day.

Nice trail, beautiful day and very few people (it’s a Tuesday). Saw an Osprey and enjoyed the many side trails.

Chill afternoon hike, TONS of people. Had fun on all the random side trails when we could escape the crowd. There really is a path for almost everyone, and I wouldn’t mind exploring more of the offshoots.

Incredible.

Left the Iller Creek trailhead at 6:00pm, perfect time to arrive at the top for the sunset vista, which was brilliant with the hazy smoke and lined with jet lines. When we arrived at the granite outcroppings lit purple like an Instagram purple from the alpine glow.

2 guys were rappelling down, a few other solo walkers journeyed by and said hi.

We hardly needed our headlamps on the way down (at first) because of the skyline of Spokane Valley, (mainly Sprague). The cicadas were in chorus on either side of the trail. We arrived at our car around 8:00 in total darkness and there were still 4 more vehicles in the parking lot.

Read the reviews & hit the trail on Friday 8/31/18 with my small terrier. Great visas, clean trails & nice people. Had a wonderful time & plan to return next month.

Great trail! Fantastic views and well maintained. Bead Lake is beautiful.

Good short hike with the kids on a Friday.

Fantastic views! Lots of neat coves and hidden campsites ;) Great mix of difficulty!

For us this was just okay. There are a few camps close to the trailhead, each with 20 piles of toilet paper and beer cans in the fire rings. The extreme numbers of yellow jackets were also a problem, you couldn't stop for more than a minute without being swarmed. Would be a fun snow shoe I bet.

Good view of the city at the top, but the hike is mediocre at best. Lots of bikes...

Great for a rider

Beautiful hike along the lake!

Amazing trail! But If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the trail for you. Parents do not keep their children in line and some parents allow their children to throw rocks from the top of the trail. If you near the water prepare for a head wound. The water is crystal clear, cold and refreshing. Many dogs on the trail but did not see dog pop. The ppl we did see were super friendly except for the ppl allowing their children to throw rocks. Even when we told them there could be ppl down there, the parents had no respect or regard for others. The trail is not marked so we ended up walking an extra 2 miles. Wear closed toe shoes as there are a lot of rocks on the trail.

I love this hike. It’s pretty level with slight incline but it’s really beautiful and well trafficked so that means safe. You can feel safe on this trail if you are alone. You pass someone quite often so as this isn’t a private secluded trail, it’s still a nice little distance for a quick run or hike. Lots of small paths and trails cut away and those can be more secluded and add some more trail time to your hike. The main loop is the busier route. Easy parking but a discover pass is required (or you can pay for the day) A few benches along the hike to take a break and picnic tables near the bridge.

Parked at the south trailhead for "Stevens Creek" off of Stevens Creek Road. Hiked a little under a mile to "Big Rock" and enjoyed the views of the Palouse to the South and Spokane Valley to the North. From where the Stevens Creek Trail meets the Iller Creek Loop at the top I recommend going down on the East (right) loop, as it is more exposed and steep, and then up on the West (left) loop, as it is shaded and less steep. Iller Creek Trailhead to the North off of Dishman Mica is also an access point for the entire area. Good trail for dogs, there is a creek along the west loop.

Great hike with beautiful views in all directions. A portion of the trail goes through the forest along a creek and makes it for a nice cool—down. The rocks are obviously amazing. Bring lots of water as it gets hot this time of the year! Very dog friendly. We will be back!

Such a wonderful hike!! We clocked in at 15 miles which took about 6 hours. Big props the person that wrote the directions for this hike!

Great views. Varied landscape. Clean, marked trails. Definitely will revisit this one.

Loved it!

One of my favorite places to hike and to go swimming!

Decent hike for kids. Took 8 and 6 year old on it. Would do it again.

Unbelievable!!!

needs better trail markers

Went the other day after a rainstorm. It was very quiet, verdant and beautiful. I expected to be bombarded by mosquitos but was not (yay)! Quite a large trunk blocking trail 25 south of 411 intersection, but had no trouble getting over it. Expected the stream to have a bit of a flow of water after all the rain, but it was barely a trickle.

Very beautiful and relaxing. Love the bridge and the views. The huge rocks are awesome! Nice place to have a picnic.

Beautiful place for a family hike!

my best friend and I took our kids here 2 days ago. we had a great time on the hike and we found the waterfall. unfortunately a dog jumped from the above cliff and almost landed on my daughter and the owners were somewhere but a stranger came down and got the dog and took it up to the owners. it was an upsetting trip and we will never go back. BE CAREFUL!

Fun easy trail. Fun to do mid-week with the pups.

Pretty disappointed with the scenery on this trail. You get a good viewpoint about 2 miles in and then the creek about 4 miles in; both great but very short lived and the rest of the hike is pretty bland. Also walking along a gravel road with cars passing by, and then later on the paved Centennial trail isn’t my idea of a hike. A good workout at points, but there are a lot of better hikes in this area.
