great hike a few steep switchbacks

Nice hike for the view you get. It’s short, do plan some other hikes or adventures in the area to make it worth the trip. The ride in is a bit rough, so go slow on the roads.

A fantastic experience heading back to Spray Park today. Make sure you keep going past the meadows for some amazing alpine and glacial exploration. Not too difficult and quite otherworldly!!

This trail was a really easy one, it’s a simple walk down a forest service road. But being along side the river was beautiful. The falls were remarkable, and the waster felt amazing on such a warm day. We hiked up further than the falls, and got a gorgeous view of the river after climbing about 1,300 feet over about 2.4 miles. If you go further up, the trail is very overgrown and there are multiple large trees down over the trail that you have to climb over.

Lovely hike close to Seattle. Can be crowded.

It was extremely foggy, making it impossible to see anything at the view point. But still so worth the hike. We were able to climb up to the base of the waterfall from the spray park view point! Definitely my favorite waterfall yet!

The beginning of the hike is easier and runs along side a river. You’ll start to hear the waterfall as you hike deeper and start to gain a little elevation. There is a fabulous lookout point with benches to enjoy the view of the waterfall from afar. The hike becomes a slightly harder with lots of change in elevation towards the waterfall. There are no signs on the trail. We ended up at the upper falls spot first and then went back down towards the lower falls lookout afterwards. Gorgeous hike!!

Overall good family friendly hike, it is busy though.

Fun way to spend a hot day! Views from upper and lower falls are gorgeous!

Gorgeous hike! This hike is full of beautiful falls, bridges, wild flowers and views of mount Rainier! Loved everything about it....except the bugs:))) Bugs we’re annoying. As soon as you stop moving, they attack you:(

My friend, who has just recently gotten into getting back into shape and I hiked this trail today. She is almost 60, and I am in my mid-sixties. We enjoyed many streams, tall trees, views of the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River, and just hanging out together. It is rated easy, and at our age and ability found it very doable but it’s still a workout. We went down to the lookout for the highest waterfall (lots of stairs and not all of them very even heights) and we are glad we did. Enjoyable day, even though it was in the 90’s by the time we were done, since there are virtually no places where the sun is beating down on you.

Loved this hike. Our gps said 6.9 miles. Pretty easy but enough to keep it interesting and keep you puffing a little if you move at a good pace. Loved the shaded forest, pretty bridges and views. Then the top is gorgeous! We swam in the lake after lunch and had a blast. Loved it! Highly recommend for beginners.

Coming from the perspective of an avid hiker this was nice walk in the park. That being said, there are some steep inclines but they're short, maybe 1/4 mile or less. Most of the hike is a very slight, 3-5% incline. Doable hike for all skill levels. However, during the steep parts there are a lot of steps so if you have bad knees it may be difficult.

Beautiful!

pretty good hike, fun one with my son

It’s a nice lake to end up at, but compared to Mt Ellinor and Staircase, it’s not quite as scenic. the actual hiking seemed like a B-level of mt ellinor which has much better views.

Pretty trail along that river that is very crowded with new hikers.

Great easy little hike. Took my daughter and had lunch at the falls.

My toddlers first hike! He loved it! Lots of other kids on the trail, nice people. Access to the water for playing or dipping in, which quite a few folks were doing. It was awesome. I can't wait until my son can go even farther when he gets bigger.

very easy and enjoyable hike. very pet and family friendly.

One of my favorite hikes to date. Pretty high traffic but worth it. My husband and I found a path that led to a part of the falls that was secluded and we took a dip in the ice cold, crystal clear water. Absolutely amazing. Won’t forget this hike!!

I’m five months pregnant and had my 2yr old on my shoulders and LOVED this hike. It’s short but beautiful and we hiked down to the waterfall and went swimming underneath it.

Love this trail. Signage could be better.

What a gorgeous hike. Huge payoff for a short distance (with a well maintained trail). We went early to beat the hottest pet of the day and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It was peaceful and beautiful. Thimble berries were ripe.

Hiked this with our two young kiddos, who are experienced but do need to be reminded to stay away from the edge. They thought scrambling down to the rocks was great!

Great stop after Green Lake trail. the pool at the base of the falls was the much needed retreat after a day on the trails.

Perfect sanity break on my way to eastern washington. Easy access to trailhead. Yes there is freeway noise in some places but I consider that a trade off to easy access.

This has to be my favorite trail ever! This place is unmarked. The only way to find it is by seeing a large side dirt pull out. Leave your car there go through the brush until you see the train tracks. Follow the train tracks to the left. Cross the pass and you will encounter the falls. Super easy. You can climb down and find 2 other sets of falls!!!
