It was good. Trail was good. Some trash in places. I left my trash bag on the counter at home. Lots of people. The drive up here was just as good as the hike.

Pro:
Gorgeous when green
Safe

Cons:
Graffiti
Typically brown
Noise pollution

It’s steep
I like to go off trail

You can’t park at Camp Seeley exactly, but if you keep driving past it where the heart rock trail sign points, you can park on the dirt turnouts along the road. I don’t believe any parking pass was needed. The trail itself was beautiful, I loved the way the trees smelled and it wasn’t crowded at all considering I went later in the day. It’s a very easy trail with a really beautiful treasure at the end.

Most of the hike consists of walking carefully on top of rock but the destination is worth it. Good workout as well.

Great Trail! Went up in a 2wd Taco, there are some pretty big ruts from the rain but they are pretty easily maneuverable. Further up the trail it gets pretty rocky so be sure to take it slow, especially if you don’t have a skid plate. It gets somewhat narrow so I did get scratched up a bit. :)

We couldn't figure out how to stay on the trail because there are fences in the way. I wouldn't go back, most the trail was street.

Very rocky! A lot of graffiti but nonetheless beautiful waterfall

I live very near this trail and run the Heart Rock Cleanup page on FB. When we first moved here the trail was heavily marred with graffiti and heavily trashed. We now organize a community cleanup at least once a year to keep everything under control. It is an ongoing struggle but well worth it. If you see graffiti on the trail, please take a picture and let us know on FB. It will be removed as soon as the opportunity arises. Please do your part to help by packing out what you pack in and picking up others trash along the way.
The trail itself is easily traversed with beautiful scenery! Enjoy!

Not so much a workout, but a riverbed of river rock to walk through. When u find the general area, park and cross the water and riverbed. Just keep to the left and u will come across the main starting point. Its a short vertical climb to reach the waterfall. A lot of people at the fall. Little caves here and there to explore. Nothing too interesting though. Don't forget the parking pass at the ranger station down the road.

Stumbled upon this trail while trying to get to big bear in the middle of the night. Gps routed me through here as a shortcut due to the highway being closed. Craziest experience I've had in a long time. Offroading in the dark in the middle of winter. Great view of the lights at night though. I'll have to drive this trail in the daytime sometime. Try to enjoy the scenery.

A nice little hike. You have to traverse the wash about 3/4 to make it to the trail head but it’s not to bad right now. Was really disappointed with all the graffiti and trash along the way but something I have come to expect on these short hikes. To much to pack back out. The falls were fantastic though. Much bigger than I expected.

Finding the trail is really difficult, definitely had to use this app to guide my way along the route. Very rocky, and lots of trash and graffiti. It’s a fairly short hike , lots of families and groups hiking this trail (people in jeans and drinking beers). It’s a weird crowd. I don’t think I’d go back but at least it’s off my list.

Beautiful place. Too bad there 's graffiti. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the hike up to the falls, It's a bit rocky but made it.

Good trail, the only downside is the amount of dog poo on the trail. Come on people! We parked at the college trailhead lot and started north. At about the halfway point, the trail makes a hard right. This was tough to spot from the rain. The trail has a large rut coming down, my wife and I couldn’t figure out where the trail went from the fire road until I looked at the map and realized that rut from the rain runoff was the trail. You will need plenty of water and good hiking shoes at this point. It seems this part of the trail isn’t as traveled as the first half, so less poo. All in all a great local hike.

The waterfall was beautiful! I will be going back soon. There are a lot of Rocky areas but not to bad. I am confident that my 9 year old will be able to do it with no problem.

Nice. easy for kids.

Very beautiful hike and very rocky make sure to keep an eye on the app for the trail we passed the turn but came back and found it

The water fall is nice, unfortunately there is a lot of tagging and trash which makes me a little angry. It is not hard just too many rocks on your way there since there is no set trail but the steepness is not bad.

Started at the trailhead on foothill at 6:40 am (parking was already getting packed) took 3 1/2 hours to get to the Doppler. We stopped a few times here and there on our way. The trail is a dirt fire road all the way up. It’s very well maintained. There are some other trails that go along side of this main trail that cuts the distance from 6 miles down to 4.8 miles but it is a lot more steep. However it is not as widely taken so on a crowded day you can take one of these and it’s a nice get away from the crowd. Beeks place was very cool and had a great view. And lots of shade which is the only place you’ll have shade aside from the Doppler. Any time after 9am there is no shade at all on the trail so start early. After a light lunch hiked back to the car in 2 hours. Me and my friend both used 3 liters of water I oils recommend just a tad more because it gets hot in the sun. Overall had a great time and would highly recommend it!

this is a really great Trail perfect for beginner off-roaders like myself. Unfortunately because of the recent rains about a quarter of a mile into the trail there are several foot wide gashes that extend the width of the trail. my stock 4Runner was not able to continue past that point but I could easily see how if it weren't for those obstacles this would be a great beginner Trail. I plan on coming back once those obstacles are no longer there.

This trail is my favorite in Corona by far. It has many different routes for different levels of hikers. There are south, west, and north trails. South trail is shorter but has a short and steep dirt road that you can see from 91 Fwy. West trail leads you to waterfall with couple mine caves on the way. Go pass beyond the end of trail sign, you will need to clime some huge rocks to keep going. A great 8-10 miles round trip if you can make it. The north trail is a uphill hike all the way to the other side of the mountain. I walked the narrow bike trail with my 2 dogs. It’s a bit slippery but will for sure burn some calories and test your guts. Bring good hiking shoes to stay safe. It’s a fun and challenging trail that you can visit all year round.

took my 3 and 5 year old girls on this trail for the 1st time. absolutely loved the trail as it was easy compared to some of the other trails we have been doing. the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the abundance of dog crap for about the first .5 to .75 miles of the trail. can't believe how much crap was not picked up. today was a cool day and we started about 11:30am but due to the lack of shade, I would not recommend starting this late in the day. we did 2.5 miles in for a total if 5 miles. can't wait to go again. oh parking can be tough so be prepared for that.
