Good trail there’s parking as you come in and also past that up the road a bit. Keep hiking up the trail and you can see it just off to the right

This is a pretty easy hike it is kid friendly as well as dog friendly! It is super pretty has soo many tall trees as well as a river flowing down! Did get a little lost trying to find the heart but eventually found it when I saw a heart drawing with an arrow drawn on the dirt pointing to the direction! It was super fun definitely going back during summer to maybe get in the water!

Definately a place to check off the list & a unique site as the 2nd tallest waterfall in the NF, but go with expectations. This is NOT a hiker's hike. You will encounter grafitti, trash, sewage, loud human noises, partiers & the trail inexperienced (read: don't know trail ettiquette). While it's rated moderate for the rocks & a short hill, it's fairly easy. Kids & small dogs could make it.

Very fun and interesting trail. Really cute waterfall and something really nice to see during the winter!

Great place to hike. what some people may not know, if you hike another half mile or so, you will run into another, HUGE HEART ROCK. I will post a pic of it. you will see my daughter in a red shirt.

NOTE: Please keep in mind that the hike becomes a little more difficult, with rocks, log crossings, branches, water streams etc.

Amazing, easy, beautiful trail!! So much litter though. Just imagine if everyone took a little responsibility for keeping our public spaces clean. My wife and I picked up as much trash as we could, but there's more out there.

Great hike in winter. Snow on the trail hard packed. No traffic and great with dogs. Go through the closed campground and use this app to be sure take the right trail. Several early converging other trails made use of the app for gps key, even the free version.

This hike is ok. You are mainly hiking through rocks at the beginning and then Bonita Falls isn’t even pointed out with signs your have to find it yourself pretty much (it’s on the left about a mile down the rocks by a huge tree). There’s a TON of graffiti and trash. The waterfall is very pretty when there’s a lot of water but there’s always been a lot of people every time I go. The creek is pretty too but on the warmer days there’s tons of people partying around the creek leaving trash and dirty diapers. Such a shame that people have 0 respect.

Easy quick hike. Stayed awhile taking pics. Towards the end u have to go to the right and the heart rock is at the bottom.

Great waterfall, even in the fall without much rainfall. Cliff goes up at least 50 feet. Hike is pretty rocky without much of a trail path. Be careful; did hear a rattlesnakes rattle near a tree out on the rocky path

Hiked on foot, it begin at the end of the neighborhood of Palm Ave and you can park right on side of the street for free (if you’re not taking your vehicle up). 17.5mile trail. I went up 2.5 miles, only seen one car coming down other than that empty. Beautiful scenic views of the mountains, hills and city below!!! That was only 2.5 miles then I went back down the same way I came up, only took about 2 hours and 15min. 100% worth it. Gets steep at some point but nothing to be worried about if you’re relatively healthy. Wear good shes because it’s mainly gravel, will be stepping on lots of rocks (can you tell I’m new to hiking

Sunday 11/25. Trail was in good repair. Not quite wide enough for a Full Size Bronco at some points. Luckily it’s not a new paint job. Trail had some amazing views of the valley below. Easy rating is correct. There were a few off shoots that allowed me to flex the Bronco a bit @ Momentum Pt. Enjoyed the run. Followed 2N49 out to Cleghorn Rd. by Silverwood Lake.

nice and quick hike.. rocky to say the least..

We took our 4 year old and it was an easy hike for all of us. Went on black friday. Crowd was average and we did not have any problems finding parking. The creek has very less water at this time of the year, so there was no waterfall near the heart rock. Nevertheless, a beautiful hike through the forest. The heart rock itself is fascinating to view. Would love to go again in spring.

Nice trail. Some steep sections. Spectacular views at peak. Total 7.2 roundtrip due to campground closed gate which mean you hike extra one mile to trailhead.

The hike itself was decent, a little up hill but nothing too strenuous. There weren't any trail signs posted so it took a while to find the actual trail but luckily I had this app to follow. I read reviews about graffiti but I didn't expect sooooo much. The actual waterfall would be much more beautiful if it wasn't covered in graffiti, the entire way up is littered with it.

Overall easy trail with some great views. easy terrain just horrible trail rash, so if you dont want your vehicle to get scratched dont use this trail. Also I tried taking 2N45 to exit to the 138 and had to turn back, I know it turns into a black diamond rd after the fork with the 2N59 but I had to turn back because it was overgrown with brush and tree branches it looks like that part of it is not used anymore. So make sure that you take the 2N59 when you get to the fork. I started at palm st and ended at the 138 just south of the lake.

Went night riding in my 98 zj. No fun offshoots. Trail options to finish south of silverwood lake

Not too difficult, but it is all rocks so make sure you wear good shoes!
